I love all of Eloisa James's novels but the narrator was terrible. She made every character sound like a pompess ass. I muscled through it because the story was interesting. Glad I did because the next novel I listened to was This Dutchess is Mine and the narrator was good. Whew!

I couldn't understand the actors. Their Irish and British accents seemed authentic which made it very hard to understand them. The main two characters however were easy to understand. It was a good story and I enjoyed the book.

This book was fantastic...until the end, if you can call it that. There wasn't an ending, just a lead in to another book BUT there isn't another book. I listened to almost 12 hours of this book to find out it leaves you hanging???

I rarely give up on a book. I’ll fight through it to give it a chance. I couldn’t get through this one and it isn’t even two hours long. The arguing, the absolutely terrible over acting, and the storyline was literally the worst audible original ever.

I read other reviews before I downloaded it saying much the same thing but I thought how bad could it be? Believe me, this one is bad. Even free, it isn’t worth it.

Oliver Twist was my favorite movie when I was very young so listening to this Audible Original was great fun. It was very well acted even though the British accents are a bit hard to understand some of the time. The storyline kept me interested and I’ll be waiting for a sequel.

At first, the narrator's voice was a little startling and a little funny, but it sure does help me fall asleep. I leave the book on through the night. I don't think I have heard all the stories but the ones I hear when I wake up help me fall right back to sleep. That's what this book is for, right?

I can't get enough of Jon Katz's books. I have border collies and love reading about them. Jon's honest depiction of them and himself is refreshing. Thanks Jon for your honesty and sharing your life with us. I am enjoying it. Getting ready to buy my next book

I used to live on a farm and know how hard it is to keep up with everything. Some romantize living in the country and although it's wonderful, it's far from romantic. Jon Katz paints a vivid potrait of life on a farm. Of course, because of my love of Border Collies (I have three), I love this book even more. Can't wait to listen to my next Jon Katz book, Izzy and Lerone.

I loved this little short story. It was entertaining and left me wishing it was longer. Diane Lane did a wonderful job performing the book.

I love the fact that this book lasts 8 hours. I don't wake up the minute the "sleep" book is over and need to turn it back on. This book lasts the entire nigth, so when I wake up during the night, I can immediately go back to sleep because it is still playing. I wish I could get my other "sleep" books to be on endless loop.
