Perfect for fans of Jo Nesbo and Mo Hayder, Liar Liar showcases all the hallmarks of Arlidge's taut and rapid-fire writing, including his protagonist, DI Helen Grace, and the Southampton-based team. Faced with yet another ruthless serial killer, one with a penchant for pyromania, DI Helen Grace is an unwilling participant in a race against this new sadistic combatant.

The accused man says: "You got the wrong guy". Then he says: "Get Reacher for me". And sure enough, from the world he lives in - no phone, no address, no commitments - ex-military investigator Jack Reacher is coming. In Lee Child's astonishing thriller, Reacher's arrival will change everything - about a case that isn't what it seems, about lives tangled in baffling ways, about a killer who missed one shot - and by doing so gives Jack Reacher one shot at the truth.

Would you consider the audio edition of One Shot to be better than the print version?

I would think so, I love Dick Hill as a narrator, I so love listening to the books he narrates.

What was one of the most memorable moments of One Shot?

Just all of it..... its a good book as usual from Lee Child

Have you listened to any of Dick Hill’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

yes.... all brilliant

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

just that feeling of an adrenalin rush listening to it, and a really satisfied "glad to have chosen it to listen to"

Any additional comments?

Don't think many people could possiblty be disappointed with this audio/novel

Would you consider the audio edition of You're Next to be better than the print version?

love the audio...... fantastic presentation

What did you like best about this story?

to be honest it took me a while to get into this audio book, I am so glad I persisted. It's only the odd one or two that won't enjoy this, don't let the negative reviews sway you (few that they are)

What about Scott Brick’s performance did you like?

The character voices are great, especially that of Shep.... I kinda like Shep, just accept him for who he is.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

If I could stay awake all night and not have to work during the day.... sure

Any additional comments?

First time I have heard this narrator.... he is very good

When I started listening I thought it was going to be a little far fetched even though it is meant to be humorous and I didn't think it would hold my interst. But a little way in I found I really enjoyed it and would have been happy if it continued on and just didn't end. It was fun in parts, and touching in others.
