No connections. Play it safe. These were the rules Ivey lived her life by. Until she hit Mustang, Colorado, a perfectly imperfect town where the citizens were welcoming, and one of them included the tall, beautiful, macho-man rancher cowboy Grayson Cody. On the run for a decade, Ivey knew she was supposed to play it safe. But she was tired of being on the run. She wanted normal. She wanted real. She wanted a home. And she wanted Grayson Cody. And Grayson Cody wanted Ivey.

This was one of my favorites from KA. I would give the story a 4/5, only cause I wished it had a little more danger. I was waiting for something to happen, but only small things happened. Don’t take this review wrong, I loved the book, loved the little things that happened. It seemed it was leading up to a big thing, but didn’t. But it was a wonderful listen. It can make you cry and laugh and at times I was trying to find things to clean just so I can listen to the story!

When Elizabeth Raleigh signed up to be a surrogate mother she was really in it for the $100k paycheck and nothing more. She knew her client was a “self-made billionaire from Chicago” but nothing much more. And quite frankly, she didn't want to know. However, a twist of fate revealed his true identity and she could not believe it. Her client was her childhood sweetheart Luke Johns. At first it seemed as if this deal was a match made in heaven and the type of unbelievable story you only read about in romance novels.

I chose the wrong man, and for seventeen years, I paid in tears, blood, and shattered dreams for that decision. Now, there’s a man in my house, holding a gun to my head on the order of my ex-husband—given from his prison cell. That hotheaded soldier I was too afraid to choose? He’s now a six-foot-three wall of muscle who works at the country’s most premier bodyguard agency. I’ve always wanted him, but now, I’ve never needed him more. It’s the call I’m terrified to make. I’m sure he still hates me… Even though I’ve never stopped loving him.

The story had a topic of addiction. It’s was sad and caught me by surprise at some points. It was a good story, the steamy parts were a little aggressive for a couple who haven’t seen each other in years. But it was a good listen. I’ve listen to the narrators before and just like the other stories they were good. I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review.

I’m sorry I couldn’t finish listening to the book. The narrator was horrible. When he did different female voices they sounded comical, wasn’t bad at first. I didn’t realize the main female character was so young, so some of her actions made the story a little confusing to me. I received this title for free in exchange for an unbiased review.
