As one of the vaunted Crusader Host, Brother Crius stood as the representative of the X Legion upon the soil of Holy Terra, but when he learns of the death of his beloved primarch Ferrus Manus at the hands of the traitors, his stoic, mechanical grief imbues him with the strength and resolve to undertake a special mission on behalf of Rogal Dorn himself. Striking out into the stars, he searches for any signs of his lost Iron Hands brethren, hoping to bring them back to Terra to aid in the final defence of the Palace.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Not really. While reading it, and even afterwards, I disliked it, but like most Horus Heresy titles, it makes sense latter.

If you’ve listened to books by John French before, how does this one compare?

This one's borderline experimental compared to his other stuff.

Have you listened to any of Toby Longworth’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

He's always great. The voice of 40k.

Was Riven worth the listening time?

Totally! Short and sweet.

What did you love best about The Domino Men?

it's the sequel to the somnambulist but you don't need to have read the somnambulist to enjoy and understand this one. it's dark, funny, creepy, fantastical, cool.

What other book might you compare The Domino Men to and why?

the somnambulist. same series and author.

What does Gerard Doyle bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

he's so damned posh.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yup.

Any additional comments?

buy it.

What disappointed you about Shadow and Bone?

Has Shadow and Bone turned you off from other books in this genre?

yup.

What about Lauren Fortgang’s performance did you like?

good voice. excellent enunciation.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

anger at wasting money.

Any additional comments?
