I LOVE Collin, but I had trouble seeing Penelope as his love interest.....even though I KNEW that's where it was heading in the first books!

It is just hard for me to get past the descriptions of her in the first books and then see her as a vibrant love interest. BUT I did like the book overall. I just wanted more. I felt like this one book just was rushed or something... I didn't get the Collin I wanted to hear.

Simon and Daphne are wonderful together. Great love story - it is pretty PG-13. I did want to strangle Simon from time to time, but maybe that is what makes him memorable!
Getting to meet the rest of the Bridgerton Clan was great - can't wait for the rest of the books!

I just LOVED this book! I didn't think I would like Anthony at first, and maybe I didn't. BUT Kate certainly brought out the best in him! There were times of frustration with him, but my father actually suffered from the same notion that he would not out live his father - so I understood Anthony's problem. Kate is just too fun! She is a spit-fire - but she has her vulnerable - almost insecure - side too.

Adam and Daphne the conclusion! This book had me from the start - totally hooked. After the cliff hanger of The Villain - I couldn't stand the wait for The Dove to download!

This is again HOT and EDGY - but its really opening up the love and romance side of their story. I didn't want it to end!

This is the second book in a series - can't wait for The Butterfly to be released hopefully in October 2018!!!

This is AMAZING! You just keep rooting for Adam and Daphne. He is so hard - but you know deep down he is a good man.

Totally worth it! Great series.

I feel like this book is a little harder for me to review simply because I haven't listened to very many erotic novels, but the ones I have were nothing like this book. Victoria Vale actually writes a good book. There's a great story.....the plot and the characters are really well developed.

This is a seriously steamy book. But at the same time you feel this love developing. So pretty much the entire time I was at war with my feelings on this book should I be upset about the way she's being treated but then again it was really hot at times so I couldn't really get a grasp on my my feelings.

It did start a little slow it took about 6 to 7 chapters before it really hooked me completely. And let me tell you Hook me it did. I didn't want to pause this book for 1 second.

This is a really good historical romance with erotica thrown in. I mean the whole time you know that they're gonna live happily ever after or do they?

The dove is the 2nd book I cannot wait to get it started.

I highly recommend this book for its romantic story along with its erotica. It truly is the best of both worlds.

All it took was a flick of the wrist. A deft touch of his sword point and Drake the Dragon bared her bound breasts. Then with the heat of his hands along her skin, he bared her soul. All the wantonness Jacquelyn had denied herself as a famous courtesan's daughter, all the desire she'd held in her heart while running Lord Gabriel Drake's estate flooded through her at his touch. Not that she could let a bloody pirate know it. Gabriel may have left his seafaring days behind, but his urge to plunder was stronger than ever.

I do not like to give bad reviews on narrators... because much of the time it can just be personal preference. But I seriously couldn't even believe my ears. Sometimes narrators say words differently because of their nationality - this narrator WOW - she mispronounced too many words to count. I am not claiming to be a Rhodes scholar, but the narrator comes across as uneducated. I'm not saying she is - but she seems very uneducated about historical terminology and English nobility. She made Gabriel (the male lead) sound like a robot...not good in a romance. It was so terrible. I truly couldn't get past her narration. I bet if I had listened with another narrator I would have given the story 2.5 - 3 stars. The story wasn't the best ever - but to pass the time cleaning it may have been tolerable - BUT NOT the case with this narrator. Do NOT waste your credit or money. Seriously - don't do it. I should have listened to the other reviewers....narration is that bad.

"Stupendous! Well I tell you I know about stupendousness and this book is the very definition."

Romantic Comedy in book form. Along the lines of Bridget Jones Diary (the way they talk to themselves)...but way better! "My precious Angel muffin"......just wait til the badminton scene!

This is without a doubt the most fun, hilarious romantic comedy I have ever listened to. Most romantic books have maybe one or two parts in them that are funny and might make you laugh or at least smile... but this book... it is constant laughter I absolutely love it. It is such a departure from the standard tone and pace of many regency romances. It has the same elements as most romantic historical romance books - the strong young heroin - damaged Duke - but the entire thing is just absolutely hilarious and makes you feel so good!! I did not want this book to end.

The book is mostly dialogue between Emma and Ash....their interactions. The plot doesn't have villains and danger at every turn - it is a story about a damaged man - learning to love himself and learning to receive love and then eventually give love in return.

Any book that within the first 15 minutes I've laughed out loud at least 5 times is a great start to a book. I really enjoy the chemistry between Emma and Ash. Mary Jane Wells is an absolute star. She brings this book to life with comedic charm and then tenderness and then powerful moments. I really don't think many other people could have done even close to as good a job as she does narrating this book.

Here's the problem - the next book you listen too will probably be a let down until you recondition yourself to normal romance novels (even those that are GOOD books).

Seriously I haven't five starred a book since I listened to Lord Perfect and the Outlander series - this is WORTH all 5 stars (and more)

I like the twist and the fact that you've basically got three people in one character. But that being said..... I really expected to heroin to be a little less sappy. I just felt like her and West we're both pretty sappy compared to the other characters in the series. Of course this could in part be because of the change in narrators.

I enjoyed the story and it definitely had some mystery which made you want to know what was going to happen.

All in all it was great revisiting all the previous book's characters and I enjoyed the story. It was a good finale to this wonderful series.

I was enthralled from the very beginning. Mara & Temple have AMAZING chemistry...ELECTRIFYING sexual chemistry. Mara is one of the best female characters I have listened to in a long time. I really didn't expect to enjoy Temple's story as much as I did....but I did!

The boys at the orphanage were a such a fun addition to the story. I actually wished they were in it a little more. I laughed out loud a few times. Great supporting characters.

For the first time in a long time - I wasn't positive where the story was heading. That's a great thing because it kept me guessing and trying to figure out all the possible outcomes.

This book was finally a book (in a long string of books) that held my attention throughout and I didn't want to hit pause on.

Great series - but this one is the best!
