When Ella Tate stumbles into Black Rock Falls, her exhausted and bloodied body is a terrifying sight, but not as frightening as the story she has to tell. Ambushed on their way into town when they stopped to help a man by the side of the road, Ella and her friend Sky ran when he pulled a knife on them. But only one of them got away.

A fast paced exciting thrill ride. The killer was so evil that by the time I'd finished listening I was out of breath. What an incredible storyline. D.K. Hood just keeps on getting better. I wonder what she'll write next? Whatever, I can't wait a second longer for the next in the series. I've said it before, this series needs to be on TV or in the movies. It is like being there. The author's incredibly skillful writing took me into the story so deeply I had shivers down my spine and couldn't sleep without the lights on. Yes she is THAT darn good.
Do I recommend this book? I wish I could give it 100 stars. If you love a good thriller with believable characters and incredible settings, read it, read all of them in the series and you won't be disappointed.

As usual D.K. Hood delivers a face paced edge of your seat thriller. This story had me wide awake listening to the audio all night. This author has an incredible imagination, fresh ideas and a style of writing that takes you right into the story. It's like watching a movie. Why isn't this author in bookstores? She is better than ANYONE I've read before and I read every bestselling crime author.
Keep writing D.K. I can't wait for more David Kane and Jenna Alton.

Former Secret Service agents turned private investigators, Sean King and Michelle Maxwell, return in their most surprising, personal and dangerous case to date. Michelle had chased many things in her life. As a track star and later Olympic rower, she had constantly pitted herself against others in races. As a cop in Tennessee she had run down her share of felons fleeing the scenes of their crimes. As a Secret Service Agent she had been fleet of foot next to limos carrying important leaders.

I loved this story it was fantastic, really very good on the edge of your seat thriller but I wish the audio had used two actors. The narration is okay, mainly because the story is so great , it grabs you and won't let go. With so many male characters in this story IMO a male narrator would have worked better. Apart from that, it is five stars from me. D K Hood does it again.

Nothing ever happens in the small American town of Black Rock Falls, so Jenna believes the victim must be one of two recent missing persons, and she fears for the life of the other. Both were strangers to the town, but there's nothing else to link them. Jenna knows someone must have seen something, but no one's talking.

Whether intricately secured by ropes, locked in handcuffs, or bound simply by a lover's command, these dangerously explicit stories of restraint will grab you, tie you down, and never let you go. From professionals letting loose their inhibitions on an office retreat to a garden full of earthy "bound" delights, this cornucopia of kink shows men put in their place and then held there firmly.

What is it about firemen that rings the bell for gay men? Could it be the strong arms and chiseled jaw, the bulging muscles under sweaty tees and tight red suspenders, or the cool calm as they use their hoses to put out the flames? Or is it the hot red fire engine, the yellow slickers, the black boots, and even the firehouse dog? Maybe it's all of these? or maybe there's something more organic that starts the fire.
