A Lincoln Navigator carries three well-dressed people through the barren New Jersey salt flats. The trip is uncomfortable but necessary. Their target has no phone, certainly no email, and never answers his mail. But August Jorgenson is no country bumpkin. Before retiring, he was one of the most famous judges in the country, and only opinions like his fierce opposition to the death penalty kept him from a seat on the Supreme Court.

Could we be living in a time of which there is more prophetic writings than of any period in history? Noah Parker, like many in the United States, has been asleep at the wheel. During his complacency, the founding precepts of America have been slowly, systematically destroyed by a conspiracy that dates back hundreds of years. The signs can no longer be ignored and Noah is forced to pull his head out of the sand and see things for what they really are.

If you could sum up The Days of Noah in three words, what would they be?

Educational, realistic, necessary

What did you like best about this story?

I appreciate an author who does not need to use foul language, unnecessary violence, and immoral scenes to try to sell his books. Mark Goodwin's stories are well-written on their own. I have returned many books because I will not voluntarily listen to bad language.

What does Kevin Pierce bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Kevin Pierce is a great narrator! His voice flows very well with the right amount of voice changes for different characters.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Sobering, but it has been instrumental in helping our family prepare for impending crisis.

Ambitious college student Daniel Walker has his world turned upside down when he begins having prophetic dreams about the judgment coming upon America. Through one of his dreams, Daniel learns of an imminent threat of an EMP attack that will wipe out America's electric grid and all computerized devices, sending the country into a technological dark age. Living in a nation where all life-sustaining systems of support are completely dependent on electricity and computers, the odds for survival are dismal.

What made the experience of listening to Behold, Darkness and Sorrow the most enjoyable?

I appreciate that none of Mark Goodwin's books contain foul language and inappropriate scenes. His material is very Scriptural, which I also appreciate.

What did you like best about this story?

Very practical and inspiring. We have learned a lot about economics and prepping from Mark. His information has helped us make our own preparations.

Any additional comments?

All of Mark Goodwin's books are exceptional. We have every one of them! Kevin Pierce is an excellent narrator, too.

It was the last peace, the great peace, the deep breath before the storm. The Golden Age was closing and the heavens paused and waited for the long plunge ahead. Some people saw it coming. But they were few. The first episode of this geopolitical thriller sets up the start of an epic battle between Light and Darkness. Taking listeners from Saudi Arabia to Israel to Washington D.C. and Chicago, Wrath & Righteousness is a frightening, torn-from-the-headlines peek into the future.

Where does Wrath & Righteousness rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is the most incredible book that I have ever listened to! Absolutely spell-binding! It's as if this book was written from the headlines. I was listening to this when the terror attack was perpetrated on Paris, and I told my husband that it's like the author had their play book. I believe these things are happening right now in the USA as well as world-wide, which makes listening to this very enlightening, but sobering. Besides the great story and fabulous narrator, it is a wonderful value for your money. For 1 credit I got over 52 hrs listening time! I never wanted it to end! The main characters became a part of my family! If you are looking for something that uses vulgar language, graphic violence and uncouth sexual content, this book is not for you! This is a very moral and Godly book.

What other book might you compare Wrath & Righteousness to and why?

299 Days, Days of Noah, American Exit Strategy

Have you listened to any of Brian Troxell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No, but I certain will look for him as a narrator when searching for new listens. He is incredible in every way!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I had many extreme reactions while listening to this book! It stirred every emotion in a good way. It will make you want to do something to change things.
