What a wonderful collection of novellas for just one credit.
These 4 stories weren’t long, but they each had lots of suspense, romance and were faith based. What else could you ask for.
I am sad this series has ended. Very enjoyable.

** I am reviewing the audible edition of the surf’s up collection box set**

This was a lovely but short sweet story, that rounded off the box set very well.
There was some suspense with the flood, and lots of romance with a cute kid to boot.
The Narration was spot on and it was easy to tell who was talking, by the different voices.

I have really enjoyed this series.

** I am reviewing the audio book, from audible, which has the 4 surf’s up collection in a box set**

This Novella, was incredibly sweet. Just like the main character Carianna.
i love the way she saw things differently. She was always looking for the good, and seemed to be full of love.
I also love the Tea with God idea.
In fact, all the characters accept the bad guys were wonderful. Nanny was a hoot.
Beth Wiseman is really great at conveying emotions and getting the reader to feel them.
I also enjoyed learning about the different food that was cooked, and the shells.
The narration again was great. I will be looking for more books by this narrator.
Would highly recommend this book, and if you are in to audio books, and you can get the box set for one credit from audible, then it’s a credit worth spending.

** I am reviewing the audible version of this book, which comes in a box set of 4 novellas**

This was another great sweet story.
There was a bit of mystery, lots of angxt. In short, I couldn’t see any way for this situation to be sorted out. I won’t say too much more for fear of spoiling the novella.

The characters were relatable and floored like all of us. This made the story feel real.
the narration was great and all the characters had their own voices which was wonderful.
Also interesting to learn a little more about Hawaii and it’s islands.
Great job. Can’t wait to start the next novella.

I really enjoyed this story.
I think Beth Wiseman did really well to pack so much in to a novella. I liked and could relate to the characters and was impressed by the author’s knowledge about Australia, which is where I’m from.
This was a lovely sweet story. There were also a lot of lessons that could be learned, and things too ponder.
The narration was excellent, with different voices for the different characters.

I am wishing for a sequel though, as without saying too much in order not to spoil the book, the ending was left open in a way.
I would highly recommend.

I am reviewing the audio version of this book!

Firstly, i have a confession to make. To my chagrin, I have never read Pride and prejudice. As a result, it took me a little bit to get in to this book. I wasn’t sure what was going on at first. Once I got in to it though, it was fine.
It was a sweet story with moments that made me smile, even laugh. I can see why it was called assumptions and absurdities.
There were so many misunderstandings. Everyone beat about the bush and talked in circles.
Sometimes with hilarious results.
I was also pleasantly surprised with what happened when some of the characters stopped trying so hard and just let themselves be their true selves.
I did enjoy the ending.
Some reviewers said their was a problem with the narration, but I thought the narration was just fine. I could understand the narrator very well. I think there were a few pronunciation problems, but these were minor.
All in all, I would highly recommend this book. Especially if you are a fan of the Pride and Prejudice genre.

Wow.
I don’t know if there will be more books in this series, but I hope so.
If not, I definitely hope there will be more novels in audio by this author.
I was totally hooked in to this story from start to finish. H Schussman did not disappoint.
I loved how the teens developed in to a team and helped each other.
I also love the sermons they gave.
Parts of the story had me on the edge of my seat. Other parts were moving. And then, other parts made me smile.
I also loved that the characters weren’t perfect, and that they had truck loads of trouble, but that God always came through.
The Message of God’s love and things working together for the good of those who love him, really shone through for me.
The narration as usual was spot on. Not sure what else i can say that I haven’t already said about the narration.
Great story with lots of good lessons in there.
If you are like me, and not in to thrillers normally, give these books a go, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Interesting story!

This was a very interesting story with lots of twists and turns.

I really felt for young Sarah trying to navigate through the divorce and everything that went along with it. How it affected her through her whole life. Then she truly fell in love. I couldn’t stop reDing. I just had to know if she and Iain could make it. There were some laugh out loud moments, which was good, because the story was so sad in other parts.
I like the way it ended, but the ending was left a bit up in the air. WE still don’t know if She and Iain can navigate through all the trouble yet to come. Some of the characters were truly wonderful, and others were really awful and nasty.
The Narration was fantastic and totally believable. Gryphon Corpus put loads of emotion in to the character of Sarah. She even did the male parts really well. The accents were spot on as well.

Young adult fiction or not, I found this book extremely hard to put down.
it could have gone on for several more hours and I still would have been in to it.
I loved Izzy’s whit and spunk. I frequently found myself smiling when she delivered something slightly sarcastic. She was also floored and had issues which was great. She was a very relatable character. The story flowed along very well, at a good pace, and was very interesting.
I would love to see more of Izzy in future books.
I loved the way the story eased the listener in to the real message, which was about forgiveness and the fact that money and power isn’t anywhere near everything.
The narration was fantastic. It really brought the story to life.I could almost see the expression on Izzy’s face as she went to battle or delivered her lines. The different accents were great as well.
I must admit, that i am reading the second book in this series, and although it’s a different character and the narrator is very good, I miss Gryphon Corpus.
I am shamelessly going to put in a request that book one, Sketchy Tacos is produced in audio. I would love to be able to listen to the whole series so far. I also definitely hope there will be more books!
Maybe a book showing more of what happens between Izzy, her dad, how her mother ends up in her new job etc.
I would highly recommend this book whether you are 15 or 59.
Great job!

This was a really wonderful book.

The author must have done a lot of research in order to write this novel. It’s more than just a novel, it’s in part biographies of the main people who were instrumental in writing and preaching the gospels. The biblical world was brought to life.
I particularly found the author’s description of paradise intriguing. How people continued to learn and gather knowledge and how there were vast libraries of people’s writings etc.
The book seemed to repeat in parts, but i think that was due to the time jumps.
The time jumps took some time to get used to, but it was all good once i figured out, that a particular time would be spoken of, and then revisited and expanded upon some time later.
The fictional characters helped to bring the biblical period to life.
The Narration was wonderful. It really helped me get in to the story and stay engaged.
If you are like me, and wonder, how people lived in the past, then I would highly recommend this book.
