I started out with Kindle version but the story grabbed me pretty quickly and I switched to the Audible version so I could listen while doing other things. Narration (especially Marietta's) was well done and plot kept me listening at every opportunity!

Well researched and interesting biography

This was a 2 for 1 purchase and I was reluctant to buy but glad I did. Interesting story and good narration.

Laura Child's has never disappointed me! Although I prefer the hardcover book, the narrator is pleasant and keeps me listening intently.

We visited Holmes County, Ohio, for a few days this past summer and enjoyed it so much! Amanda Flower did a wonderful job of transporting me back there among the many cheese and chocolate shops along with the beautiful countryside where so many Amish call home. The narrator actually reminded of some of the people with whom we spoke while there. I plan to follow this series!

This book kept my interest and, once I got involved with the characters, I really hated to have it end! I have since read some of the historical background on Georgia Tann and am appalled at the atrocities with which she got away. So sad for the many families she stole from. Highly recommend this!

I'm sad that this book ended! Karen White has a way of writing that makes me feel as though I know each character. A native Floridian, I spent my working life in Georgia so I felt right at home as I listened. I met the author about two years ago in Watercolor at The Blue Giraffe and she is truly as gracious as many of her characters. The narrator did an awesome job also!

Loved this China mystery as much as all the others.
The narrator kept my attention throughout her delivery. I prefer reading these mysteries but have listened to last three and have not been disappointed.
