Galutu is a time traveling prophet. He struggles with his faith, his identity and loving his wife who has been dead 800 years and loving an alien woman and a human woman in his present. While I would have loved for there to have been some actual polyamory themes here only polygamy was mentioned. Clean book, only one kiss.... no real curse words, other words used in place of my favorite F word.
The story was really good, very glad I listened to the audio version or I may have gotten hung up on names, planet and civilization pronunciations....
I love time travel and I love science fiction and fantasy. If you are looking for something altogether different than anything else you’ve read I’d recommend this book.

Jack Hunt always creates a good story. Kevin Pierce always delivers a stellar performance. Put these two together and you are bound to have something good! I liked the story but I didn’t absolutely love it so much that I didn’t want to turn it off. I’m very interested in what’s to come and I hope we get more action &/or drama.
I felt the last chapter was a bit rushed. Can wait to see how Sam buts heads with his former father in law. I already hate the man and Sam will be a formidable person to bring him down to earth.

A lot happens in this book in a very short period of time. There is some biblical lore and some fantastical creatures. Every year there are new discoveries on this planet. Who is to say there isn’t a yet to be discovered &/or explored island/& peoples with some ‘supernatural’ tendencies.....
the characters were well written but could be fleshed out a bit more. I’d love to see them go on more adventures but not sure how that would be possible. Our seekers became the protectors.
Narration was excellent.
I would read more by this author (this story reminds me a bit of James Rollins work) and definitely listen to more by this narrator.

It spread fast - no time to understand it - let alone learn how to fight it. Once it reached you, it was too late. All you could do is run. Rumored safe zones and potential for a cure drifted across the populace, forcing tough decisions to be made. They say only the strong survive. Well, they forgot about the smart, the inventive, and the lucky.
