Great second book! This book is full of action and drama! Kate always does such an amazing job character & world building. She has shot to one of the top on my favorite authors list these last few years.

Asher & Scarlett and all the rest of the pirate crew run from one dangerous situation to another. Not everyone survives this adventure and you will be on the edge of your seat at times.
If you haven’t read any of Kate’s books you need to get one ASAP! Any of them you pick up will be worth it.

Heidi does an amazing job narrating and I will definitely look for other books she narrates.

I’ve loved everything I’ve read by Kate L Mary. While I loved the Twisted series more I know this one will become a favorite as well as it progresses.
Kate is great at world & character building. You’ll envision them and see them in all their details.
Asher & Scarlett need to just give in to their temptations already!
Ready to see the whole pirate crew bring down all the evil in their society. Also need more details on the ‘church’ in the book.
Starting book two tonight.

This is a pretty fantastical story. Baby gun was the most ridiculous character ever but also pretty cool. I figured out the identity of Monday pretty easily. The characters abilities & the explanations of how they have powers were cool and some original. I like the idea of this story continuing. I would definitely read or listen to the next installment. Can humanity survive without someone trying to mold the world to their imagination?
Narration was excellent. Hardy did a wonderful job!

I definitely got some vibes of the Waypoint novel but this was written before that one. Both are very good.
Loved ‘Natasha’ and if you read this you’ll understand the reference. I would definitely be interested in these characters having more adventures.
Austin did a fabulous job narrating and this is the first book I’ve listened to by him.

The junkie. The goth girl. The redneck. The nerd. The gangsta. The gay kid. The jock. The twins who can't even tell themselves apart. A loveable cast of walking clichés, out for a week in a cabin in the middle of nowhere. What could possibly happen? Murder, that's what! Who left that dead girl skewered on the porch, anyway? All are suspect, as the slayings become more and more ridiculous. Hell of a way to spend a vacation. Will they find out who the killer is in time to stop this madness, or will this mean the end for all?

I generally love Marc Richards writing. I don’t like absolutely stupid characters even for comedy sake. It took a lot for me to finish this one. Not a single smart character in the entire bunch. Parody or not I need someone to have some brain cells functioning. None here, sorry.

Davis did a great job narrating as he usually does.

Narration by Andrew was excellent as always! He is definitely one of the best working today.
This was the first book I’ve read by Druga and it was really good. I have read one like it. There are so many post apocalyptic & SHTF books that it’s hard to find something original these days. There were a lot of new ideas in this story line that I haven’t come across in other series. I really appreciate that. In this one other countries come to help us. We (the USA) always help other countries. (well before Trump we did who knows if we will continue to do so)it was new to see other countries coming to help us in our time of need.
The sibling & family love that was portrayed was nice to see. I will definitely be continuing this story. For those of you who prefer clean stories without profanity and continual violence this book is a good read. Also appropriate for teens.

El Paso wasn’t the Promised Land that Ian and his crew had hoped for, but it wasn’t a total bust either. The concept of a safe haven in today’s world was a fool’s errand at best. This was the consensus of their tiny band and to keep moving their only salvation. While others waited in their pens, the four from the private security company moved on, taking on as many they could help, in hopes that they too would join the fight. Their journey was long and arduous, but it was worth it...they hope.

First, I have to admit that I would probably listen to Kevin Pierce reciting a phone book. He is that good!
Second, he does read my absolute favorite genre post apocalyptic and prepper fiction.
I like to think that he gets a say in what he narrates as I have never been disappointed in a single book that he has narrated.
Is this a game plan story but it does have its dark moments. (As all SHTF books do)
I am very interested in the boy and where his story will lead.
Thank goodness for bad asses who have big hearts!
