Three Army soldiers recently returned from the war in Afghanistan are being held at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs. I really expected to have lost interest in the story line by now! A big NOT! I love the fresh twist and the new adventures - I'm not even finished with this audio yet and it has me on the edge and excited about what's going to happen next. Gavin is the greatest - I actually found this series by looking for works by Gavin.

In The Witch with No Name, Kim Harrison brings back her wildly popular heroine for one final, epic battle. Rachel Morgan's come a long way from the klutzy runner fleeing a bad job. She's faced vampires and werewolves, banshees, witches, and soul-eating demons. She's crossed worlds, channeled gods, and accepted her place as a day-walking demon. She's lost friends and lovers and family, and an old enemy has become something much more.

Mack might be, to all intents and purposes, a normal looking human, but she lives with a pack of shapeshifters in Cornwall in rural England after being dumped there by her mother when she was just a young child. She desperately wants to be accepted by her surrogate family, not least because a lot of them hate her for merely being human, but for some reason her blood just won't allow the transformation to occur.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Highly recommend the series but this was the best book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Oracle's Moon?

The plot was a bit more complex than the other stories and I really enjoyed the way that the author wove a kind of spiritual connection as well as physical aspect of the characters relationship. Twice as hot!

What does Sophie Eastlake bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Fabulous job with the voices and really putting in some "attitude"

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely! I actually listened to it twice - back-to-back before I moved on to the next book in the series.
