Lynn Cahoon writes believable plots with believable characters making each story such a good read. you don't feel guilty taking time out to read.

what is good is even if I was not reading the series in order, you can read each story on their own
However her shorter chapter stories provides some insight into the other books containing more chapters.

books between books, small snippet chapters

This book should be called 2 + years of choir, the beginning of our New Normal.

This story shows the undying love of a woman for the man in her life. It shows the disgusting treatment of a family, the destruction of trust within the family circle. I wish to one day meet Stephanie Mack face to face.. and give her a hug. she needs to take herself and her children and expunge the name Madoff from their names. Her children will NEVER gave peace. AND she needs to cut contact of the poisonous Ruth Adam, and Susan, Madoff's. for the sake of their sanity.

INTERESTING MULTI-CHARACTER STORY

This story was filled with all the angst and many plot twists that are weaved together. The audible narration of the story was told by a person who used many different voices and managed to keep them separate and organized. I enjoyed it very much, made a great snuggle in on a cold day or a great beach day read.

This book is difficult to rwad...even more to listen to....no warnings...it tears at your heart...makes you angry....makes you want to stop reading or even worse, listening but you can't. Written so descriptively that you feel you are right there...seeing, witnessing, all the author puts her characters in.

This is a great book

while the story is riveting on how something could happens that ruins lives, kind of an immitation to tge game "tekephone" where a whispered rumor has a life on its own...in this case a bunch of lies weaves a story..HOWEVER MOST DISTURBING is the constant interruption of announcements of suthor/narrators, music, editing, fact checjer, etc. if I heard it once, I heard it 7 times throughout it seems.....most annoying and completely not necessary.
