Would you try another book from Eric Van Lustbader and/or Holter Graham?

Got this book in a hurry--should have read some of the reviews--story was hard to follow and author tried too hard to make some sections thrilling--"carved initials on his heart?" really? Story went on and on--can't believe I made it all the way thru--I may get my money back on this one!

Would you ever listen to anything by Eric Van Lustbader again?

no

The world is on the brink of disaster. Iran has just conducted its first atomic weapons test. Millions of Muslims around the world are convinced their messiah — known as the Twelfth Imam — has arrived on earth. Israeli leaders fear Tehran, under the Twelfth Imam’s spell, will soon launch a nuclear attack that could bring about a second Holocaust and the annihilation of Israel.

What would have made The Tehran Initiative better?

This book is so boring, it may be the first Audible book out of 150 that I have not finished--the story line and plot is tentative at best, and it has little to keep your attention or provide any reason to continue on--save your time.

Has The Tehran Initiative turned you off from other books in this genre?

This book does not belong in the

How did the narrator detract from the book?

He certainly did not ADD to it--

The worst that can possibly happen... has. A beautiful child is dead - defiled and murdered in a lonely graveyard on a fog-shrouded evening. It is the sort of horrific crime Chief Inspector Alan Banks fled the city to escape. But the slaying of a bright and lovely teenager from a wealthy, respected family is not the end of a nightmare. Lies, dark secrets, unholy accusations, and hints of sexual depravity swirl around this abomination like leaves in an autumn wind, leading to a shattering travesty of justice that will brutally divide a devastated community with suspicion and hatred.

I would have taken this book back after the 1st couple chapters if I had gotten it from the library, but since I paid for it at Audible, I felt obligated to listen to the end--the dribble just went on and on--I kept thinking it would get better but it never did--horrible ending--not only was this not a "thriller" it could actually put you to sleep. This book just has no redeming value!!
