I don't listen to "rock star romances" very often but this one was definitely worth a listen. The author offers a lot of underlying messages in this fabulously written story. We have one character trying to get their life back on the right track and another who has a past they are running from. I love that Andrea was able to discover confidence in herself and it was a pleasure watching her transformation. The author wrote some great s.*.x.y scenes and they were even more so because the relationship had a 'forbidden' romance element to it as well as boss/workplace element. In addition, the author is able to include a very touching and surprising background for Andrea that gives her and Laz a connection on an entirely different level. Excellent writing and it wraps up nicely with a desirable happily ever after.

I loved the narration for this story! I thought it was an absolutely impeccable performance that helped really bring out various elements of the story. This narrator fit the characters well and easily took this book to the next level. Absolutely impressive performance!

I’m done hiding. I’ve stopped running. And I’ve finally accepted my destiny - to take four dragon shifters as my mates so I can become the next Black Dragon, the wielder of all the elements. I’ve already bonded with Jasin, my smoldering soldier, and soon, I’ll be getting intimate with Auric, Slade, and Reven. Only then can we become powerful enough to stop the current Dragons, the overlords of our world. But as we continue our journey, secrets are uncovered about my mates that make me question everything, even as things heat up between us.

Kiss the Sky picks up where Stroke the Flame leaves off. It is a very fast paced listen and seemed to be over before I knew it! In this one we get to see their journey as the return to the place where Auric is from and we get a lot more detail about him and his background. We also get to learn some more suprising information about Kira and her background. Now that we know who all of the main characters (mostly) are from the first book, the author is able to establish real relationships and connections between Kira and her men. It is a little predictable since we are able to have a general idea of where the author intends to take the story; however, the author is able to keep us engaged with how she takes us there and through these charming characters. There are also some pretty steamy scenes as Kira and her men start to become closer with one another.

These narrators did a fantastic job in this performance. Each kept character voices consistent and differentiated from the first book. I think their voices enhance the sensuality and the interactions between the characters. I like that they did dual narration for point of view changes between Kira and the men. It's not very common but it works well since this is a reverse harem novel. Very enjoyable to listen to.

This can be read as a standalone even though it is in a trilogy. Actually, it took me a little bit to realize how Because I Can and Because I Won't were connected. I love stories like these where the main female character is such a strong individual. Because I Won't is a story about overcoming one's past but also a story about discovering love. There are some VERY unexpected twists in this shorter listen that make it super engaging. This author may not write longer stories (yet🤞), but she is able to make these shorter stories pack a punch.

I thought the narrator did a great job in this performance and her voice fit Jo very well. She kept character voices consistent and did a fabulous job bringing out Jo's strength as a female main character.

To me, this is very relevant to the turmoil going on in the USA right now. It does remind me of conspiracy theories I've heard. There are a lot of interesting things that the author incorporates into this book. I think the angle of using a News Reporter as one of the main characters was a pretty unique feature.

One thing that surprised me is that the whole story takes place 15-20 years from now but the level of technology isn't as advanced as I think it should have been for that time period. For example, USB/thumb drives are quickly becoming a thing of the past but one made an appearance in this book? It would be the equivalent of using a floppy disk/cassette tape in today's time.

Interestingly, the author was also the narrator. I was actually impressed! I think there were a couple of character voice inconsistencies between character inner dialogue and outer dialogue; however, it didn't take away from the quality of the story. I thought it was an excellent performance and reeled me in just as much as the writing.

Overall, great writing and narration!

I really liked this book! Its not very often that I get to read stories of pure self empowerment. I love that the main character is such a strong female and is able to overcome the devastating attack. For the first hour or so of narration I wondered how the author was going to incorporate any kind of romance or love story. I was pleasantly surprised by where the author takes this story. Suprisingly the author was also able to throw in a few twists in this shorter listen.

The narrator did a fabulous job expressing all the various emotions throughout this short listen. Her voice was a great fit for this listen. She did a great job differentiating between characters voices.

I love when authors combine multiple genres like Kwen Griffeth did in this book. This whole listen was absolutely captivating from the first minute to the last. We get a combination of romance with werewolves and law enforcement as well as a rogue. All the characters are very well written and we get a good background on them. This author is new to me, but I would love to listen to more of her work because this book really impressed me. Great writing and storyline, we get twists and turns throughout but everything ties together nicely; there isn't much of a cliffhanger.

The narrator did a wonderful job in this performance. I think he really captured the tone and intensity of the characters. His voice make this excellent story into a full blown masterpiece.

Can't wait for more by this author and narrator. This one was impressive.

Go to Paris, you'll find love! I’m Jillian Moore. My entire life, I wanted to follow in my parents’ footsteps and find true, long-lasting love, but unfortunately, it hasn’t happened in the five years I’ve lived here. You’d think in a city with two million people, I’d have crossed paths with the perfect man. Huh! Who am I kidding? However, things changed when I least expected it. I was literally knocked on my ass, but it wasn’t by the sexy man with the gorgeous caramel eyes. No, I’ve been knocked over by a pint-sized, strawberry blonde.

This little shortie is such a cute listen. It is somewhat easy to see where the story is going; however, as a hopeless closet romantic, I am a sucker for stories like these. The author did a great job writing this short romance and with some spicy scenes thrown in too. I think setting the story in Paris really elevated the charm of this book.

The narrator did a great job in this performance. She expressed an appropriate amount of emotion throughout and was consistent with character voices. Her narration made this quick listen extra enjoyable and heartwarming.

The author wrote this in such a way that it almost feels like two separate stories told simultaneously, but are also intertwined. Which is interesting considering because we have the father's story and then the son's story; both are doctors. The author does a fabulous job making storyline seem realistic and plausible; he also formed characters that were likeable and normal even though they are doctors. There is a twist that seemed really unexpected to me, but it made sense. I enjoyed this author's style in this book.

The narrator did an excellent job in this performance. This is not the first time I've listened to him, and I thus far have enjoyed all of his performances. His performances seem to get a little better with each performance. I think he was definitely a great pick for this type of book and he was able to bring the story to life.

The concepts in this book are pretty interesting. I had a little bit of a harder time following in some spots, but there were plenty of reminders to where I could piece together what was happening. The author does a great job of giving us a good look into the main character's uncommon way of thinking as well as tying all the pieces of the puzzle together.

The narration was pretty good as far as being consistent and clear; however, it was a little monotonous and I would have liked there to have been better differentiation between character voices.

The author does a fabulous job in this second part of Ascension. It has a bunch of twists and I just can't even believe that cliffhanger! I love that Cassien and Luna are soul mates but at the same time hate each other. I think this book is a smidge less exciting than part 1 only because it's setting up for the next one. HOWEVER, it is such a riveting story that I just couldn't stop listening. The author's ability to create an entirely unique world with such dynamic characters is entirely masterful. I can't wait to see where this author takes this series and her writing career.

The narrators did a great job in part 1, but there wasn't enough differentiation to tell that there were four separate narrators. In part 2, they have done a way better job and I could actually tell that there were four of them! They were all clear and easy to understand and their pronunciation was great.

Overall, I look forward to seeing where this author takes this bombshell of a series and I am excited for more of her writing.
