This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

Curious Bachelor/Bachelorette fans.

What about Andi Dorfman’s performance did you like?

Obviously it's her story so she did a good job performing

Any additional comments?

I don't think her advice is for the wise. I get it that her ex was really bad but I think she sinks to the same level/a level lower just in writing this book. That guy will never be able to live this down because there will always be a book out there about the awful things he did during this one season of his life. Also don't appreciate the coarse language. I listened out of curiosity because I love watching the bachelorette/bachelor & I just wondered what happened between Josh & Andy. But I'm not proud that I listened to this.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

People who aren't bothered by awful details about a child being raped

Has The True Story of Hansel and Gretel turned you off from other books in this genre?

No, I love historical fiction.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The True Story of Hansel and Gretel?

I would cut out the gruesome language & unnecessary details about the awful things that happened in the book.

Any additional comments?

Not for people who like to keep their entertainment PG13. I felt like I lost a bit of my innocence.

I couldn't stop listening. It was very intriguing. However some of the language bothered me. I don't like the F word & it was in there a lot. I also don't like hearing the Lord's name used in vain so much. So that kind of made it less enjoyable for me.
