Like I said with book one, this isn't my usual genre, hut I'm a fan of Phipps and his books never disappoint! Wraith Lord was even better than Wraith Knight! It picks up right where book one left off. Jacob and his two wives try to put together an army large enough to take out the army of the nine heroes. Yes, two wives! Both are just as powerful as Jacob since he shared his powers from the king below with them equally. I can't wait to see what's to come in book three, Wraith King! Great narration by Peter Berkrot! He really brings the characters to life!

I always hate hearing the words "Audible hopes you've enjoyed this program" when I'm truly enjoying a book like this. Thankfully there is more to come, but sadly I have to wait. This is truly one of the best post-apocalyptic series I've listened to, and I'd love to see it made into a movie or TV series as long as it doesn't get butchered by directors. This series gets better with each book and I'm glad to know there are a few more in the works! I can't wait to see what the future holds for X and his friends. As always, excellent writing by Nicholas Sansbury Smith and an outstanding narration by R.C. Bray!

Golden Globe nominee Scarlett Johansson ( Lost in Translation, Girl with a Pearl Earring) brings a palpable sense of joy and exuberance to her performance of Lewis Carroll's enduring classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The young and imaginative Alice grows weary of her storybook, one "without pictures or conversations", and follows a hasty hare underground - to come face to face with a host of strange and fantastic characters.

A great classic I never read as a child. I absolutely loved Scarlett Johansson's narration. As for the story, I enjoyed it, but I think Disney's version was better. I truly hate saying that, but it's how I feel. Usually the book is always better, but I'm noticing that Walt Disney usually takes a good story and adds his Disney magic and makes it so much better! Still and good story with a great narration.

Rising steeply from the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, the Dutch island of Saba is a sleepy paradise, the mountainous slopes dotted with little red-and-white cottages. But this little oasis has a less tranquil history, many of its inhabitants having descended from smugglers and pirates. Boone Fischer and Emily Durand are eager to explore their new home, but their peaceful lives are about to be shattered, as one of history's most powerful hurricanes begins to form - and a savage evil has made its way ashore. The sequel to the best seller Deep Shadow.

Excellent continuation of the Caribbean Dive Adventures series! Boone and Emily seem to keep finding trouble in the Caribbean! This time they have to deal with a massive hurricane bearing down on them while trying to hunt down the bad guys. I love how Sullivan describes these beautiful islands. I'd love to go diving there myself, just not during hurricane season and hopefully without any bad guys lol. Great follow up book and I'm very happy to hear there will be a book three! I can't wait to see what trouble Boone and Emily find next time. Great narration by the author! Nick Sullivan is one of the few authors that can pull it off!

Kale Drayton knows his place. As a Ringer born on Titan, he's used to keeping his head down and his mouth shut--no matter how much the Earthers abuse him or his own kind berate him. So, when he's caught stealing from a wealthy merchant, he's lucky to be sentenced to low-paying maintenance work on a gas-harvesting ship instead of life in a cell... or worse. This is book 2 in the Children of Titan series. Book 1 was outstanding, and this one is much better. I highly recommend listening to book one first. Kale Drayton's roll in this story is not what I expected at all after book one. With the responsibility he takes on, you forget how young he really is. This dystopian world takes place on Saturn's moon, Titan long after most of humanity was wiped out on Earth by a meteor.
Great narration by R.C. Bray! He always delivers a flawless narration with many different character voices and accents.
Can't wait for book 3!

Following the incredible events of Solitude, Vaughn had visions of plying the seven seas with Angela at his side. Then she and fate crapped all over his plans. Bent on discovering the truth about what happened to humanity and the rest of the world's life, Angela drags a less-than-willing Vaughn across the Mediterranean and into central Europe. However, even the overhead presence of a line of levitating steel structures and ships couldn't prepare them for what lied ahead. The size and scale of what they find in Geneva rocks them to their cores.

OMG! Multitude was absolutely fantastic! If you haven't listened to Solitude yet, I highly recommend that you do. This picks up right where the story left off and explains what happened to the rest of humanity. Angela and Vaughn make their way to CERN to figure out what happened to all human and animal life on the planet. What they find is horrifying! In an attempt to stop a horrible invasion, they end up in an unending loop between parallel universe trying to find their way back home and put a stop to this! This is a story you have to pay close attention to or you'll get confused. Even the main characters are confused!

Excellent narration by R.C. Bray and Julia Whelan! Bray always does a phenomenal job and is one of my absolute favorite narrators! Whelan and Bray work so well together in this series!

I'd hate to see this series butchered, but I think this series would be great as a movie! Can't wait for book 3!

I had absolutely no idea that Chitty Chitty Bang Bang wasn't a Disney creation. When I found out it was written by Ian Flemming, I had to get it! The creator of James Bond wrote the story that led to one of my favorite childhood movies! To top it off, this is narrated by David Tennant! The movie is clearly a very loose adaptation of the book. This definitely had an Ian Flemming feel to it with bad guys, car chases, and explosions. The movie was definitely better, but I still enjoyed the book.

Here is the timeless story of Mary Poppins, the world's favorite nanny, and her magical adventures with the Banks family. Mary Poppins is like no other nanny the Banks children have ever seen. It all starts when their new nanny is blown by the east wind onto the doorstep of the Banks house, carrying a parrot-headed umbrella and a magic carpetbag. She becomes a most unusual nanny to Jane, Michael, and the twins.

I hate comparing this to the movie, but it's hard not to. There were many similarities, but just as many differences. I can certainly see why Walt Disney loved this character so much! Mary Poppins is just as magical in the book as she is in the movie, but also a bit more stern with the children in the book. It could quite possibly have been the narrator that made her come across that way though. Sophie Thompson did a wonderful job with the narration! I honestly think I enjoyed Disney's version better, but still loved the book.

The Still Alive series is a truly hilarious apocalyptic tale that gets better with each book. I'm very happy to see that this isn't the end of the series yet! S. W. Salzman does a great job with the narration, which makes the story even funnier. In this book, Mo is off to Birmingham to find his brother! The oracle, Smokes, will fly Mo and a few other there to look for him. Apparently Smokes is a pilot too. Smokes seems to know everything that is going to happen throughout this whole series because of his zombie movie knowledge. One thing the bugged me though in that book was the fact that Mo said the true antagonist we're the zombies. I have to completely disagree. Humans are far worse. Zombies are like deadly animals acting on killer instinct. Humans can be deceptive and far more deadly. Maybe that won't be the case as the series continues, but it usually is.
