Tanner's acting career had just begun. He was hotter than the stage lights and twice as captivating. The gorgeous Australian A-lister was everyone's teenage dream. And he'd picked me. Or so I thought, until he proved to be as false as everything else about Hollywood. Now I've finally scored the perfect opportunity to star in a major film. The kicker? Tanner will be my costar. I don't know if I can do this one more time....

After the loss of her entire family, Lorraine Peters heads to the woods searching for peace of mind and anything to quell her anger. Instead, she stumbles upon a scene of horrific violence, as one man lies helpless in the face of three attackers. Andor Katona's existence has been a harsh one, living for centuries as a monk in the Carpathian Mountains. Unable to find his lifemate, he almost welcomes his release from a colorless and unfeeling world at the hands of the vampire hunters who have mistaken him for their prey. That is, until a whirling ball of fury bursts onto the scene.

oh I have been counting down the days for this book. I love this series! This one was worth the wait. Alot of the Carpathians were either in it or mentioned. I like getting updates on how the others are doing.
The plot thickens as the enemy gets more and more dangerous by having slivers of all his brothers and the most powerful mage within himself. Will he get to Andors life mate before it's to late?

Jake McKallister might have been a rock star, but he was no ordinary one. Surviving an unspeakable crime as a young teen had shaped him into a guarded workaholic, and he now lived his life trying to forget. If it hadn't been for music and the redemption he found through it, he might not have survived. Career success came easily for him. Personal connections did not.

This book picks up right where the last one ended. I love the charectors, espically there whit!
BUT the ending is enough to make you want to scream! I mean... really? it just stops...At a crutial moment. A simple epilogue could have solved all this book hangover.

Never mix business with pleasure. Never bring politics into the bedroom. In a way I did both when I took Jackson Rutledge as a lover. I can't say I wasn't warned. Two years later, he was back. Walking into a deal I'd worked hard to close. Under the tutelage of Lei Yeung, one of the sharpest businesswomen in New York, I had picked up a thing or two since Jax walked away. I wasn't the girl he once knew, but he hadn't changed. Unlike the last time we'd drifted into each other's lives, I knew exactly what I was dealing with...and how addictive his touch could be.

Ok, I love Day's books, but this one was weak. The characters were not developed at all. Story goes like this. Girl meats guy in bar, sleeps with guy. Guy meets up with girl on the weekend for 6 weeks then just stops without saying good buy.. 2 years later guy runs into girl again, sleeps with her again, confesses undying love, quits huge carreer for her then asks for marrags after only being reconecter for a few weeks... when they talk, they always fight unless there having sex...
Don't waist 7 hrs of your day on this one.

I feel like I waited forever for this book. I liked the story but it wasn't my favorite. I assumed from other encounters with Dragomir that he would be more dominant. Instead, he gets horribly wounded in every fight and is slightly sappy with Emmiline. The chemistry just isn't there. I feel like instead of being that strong love that the Carpathians are known for that there is more of a dependency type love. She is just so grateful that someone wants her and he is just glad he has a lifemate. I know all the men are glad they found a lifemate but... I just don't feel the love, espically with the sex. It feels like just sex instead of the unbelievable romance that I'm use to in there novels. If you read Dark Prince then read Dark Legacy it would be hard to tell the same lady wrote both.
That being said, I still liked it and I am looking forward to the next book.

Holden Scott is the prince of professional football. At least he was before he lost it all...or, more to the point, before he threw it all away. Now he's out of a job, out of the public's good graces, and perhaps just a little out of his mind. So when a friend offers up his remote lodge in the wilds of Colorado, giving Holden some time away to get his life back on track, he can hardly say no. The last thing he expects is to see a beautiful girl in the woods - one wearing a white lace dress who appears in the moonlight and leaves no footprints behind.
