When a body turns up in the dumpster behind Caroline's Cupcakes, Holly White is horrified to learn her best friend, Caroline, is the main suspect. Everyone in town, including Mistletoe, Maine's sheriff, saw Caroline fighting with the victim on the night of his death. Worse, Caroline's fingerprints are all over the murder weapon, a custom-designed marble rolling pin. I've read this entire series as they were published and wanted to go back to listen to them. I will not continue to do so. The narration is too distracting. Goldy is young and this performance makes her sound like an old scotch drinking, chain smoking, tough broad. Plus the deep breaths, and swallowing...I just can't take another minute.

Would you consider the audio edition of Lessons from Madame Chic to be better than the print version?

No, the narrator sounds like a robot. Jennifer should have read her own book. Jennifer has a very pleasing voice and would have done an excellent job.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Amy Rubinate?

Jennifer L. Scott, the author

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Lessons from Madame Chic?

Nearing my 60's and finding I can still learn a thing or two.

Any additional comments?

Her blog and her YouTube channel are also excellent.
