This book would have been remarkable. It had all the ingredients for a heartfelt story. Then came the overzealous pious nature of the author to muddy the waters.
I would imagine this family belief system would drive ANYONE to murder. Belief is fine, but when you blame mental illness on lack of faith or anything against what you consider wrong, that is unacceptable.
Who do you believe caused the tornado and the murder hmm?
Mental illness is defined as losing grasp on reality. Sound familiar Joan?

Absolutely fascinating look into a profession at a corrections center and the trials and tribulations that come with the job. The reader is very talented at bringing to life the events as told by the Good Doctor Wright. Phenomenal book!

Contrary to popular belief, not everyone carries a rosary around or a cross. This audiobook was about the Self. All that matters in the world is being true to ourselves. No religion is necessary, and a holy man can be just as hole-y as the Bible.

Loved it! Such a different look at MJK struggles behind the band. I guess Tori was somewhat responsible for instilling the idea of wine making when she gave him that bottle!

Beautiful tale of the struggles of someone changing who they are, then having to cope with their decision. It's not about simply tolerating someone different, rather than accepting into the grand scheme of life.
Highly recommended!
