This is one of the best westerns I've listened to. It is a period piece, which I prefer. I hate modern westerns. It didn't shy away from sex scenes which many westerns do. The characters were not annoying and the story kept me interested. There was an interesting twist of poetic justice. The narrators deep voice was very nice.

I liked the premise of this story as well as the main characters. Some parts were a little tedious and I skipped over them. It had a satisfying ending. The narrator was good. I hate listening to women voicing male parts, so usually only listen to male or duet narration.

The narrators in this book are two of my favorites. They also narrate the Dr. Vincent books, which are filthy and actually make me blush. They are good at the sexy time scenes. This is a good story. I only have one small frustration, which is that I really don't understand why she didn't tell him about the situation when she escaped. It made no sense. But, it did add for one more dramatic moment, so I'll tolerate it. Lucky was hot.

First of all, this is the only audiobook that had me blushing and thinking "Oh my God." It was so dirty, without being sadistic. It was almost too much sometimes, but I stuck with it because I had a feeling there was something good in the future. I enjoyed the unique storyline, and will listen to the second installment. The narrators were excellent and it was so well done. The emotions and sex scenes were almost too much. They held nothing back. Also, I loved that the male narrator always did the male voice, and the female always did the female voice.

Hendrix Caldwell wants nothing more than to revitalize the family bar and tear down every last reminder of his no-good father. But business isn't the only thing on his mind. An explosive encounter with a stranger at a charity masquerade is just the distraction he craves, with no names and no strings attached. For Hendrix, sex is casual, and love is a four-letter word. His commitment is to his brothers, his bar, and his bike. So why can't he stop thinking about the naughty Cinderella who rocked his world then left him - and her panties - behind?

This was a good story. Not too angsty. I appreciate a strong alpha male with a heroic, protective nature. The narrators were both excellent. This is in my top narrator choices. I'm very fussy about that, and will not listen to a story if the narration is annoying. This is my first book by this author, but I'm about to check out the next in series "Morrison".
