What did Charles Darwin, middling schoolboy and underachieving second son, do to become one of the earliest and greatest naturalists the world has known? What were the similar choices made by Mozart and by Caesar Rodriguez, the U.S. Air Force's last ace fighter pilot? In Mastery, Robert Greene's fifth book, he mines the biographies of great historical figures for clues about gaining control over our own lives and destinies. Picking up where The 48 Laws of Power left off, Greene culls years of research and original interviews to blend historical anecdote and psychological insight, distilling the universal ingredients of the world's masters.

My life felt like a fast ride on a too short highway. Coming home should be roses and rainbows, but nothing that comes out of the desert blooms free. I was most certainly not free. I'd missed my payment to Blaine, owed the last client a hundred grand I didn't have, and my father was on his deathbed. To make matters worse, Wes was missing in action. As in, no one had seen or heard from him in three weeks. Devastation didn't begin to explain where my mental state was at.

Would you recommend September to your friends? Why or why not?

Pretending. I've always been good at pretending. Being someone else is easy, and that ability has served me well these last seven months. This time, I've been hired to be the long lost sister of oil tycoon, and down to earth cowboy, Maxwell Cunningham. Recently, Maxwell's father passed away and in his last Will and Testament he dropped a bomb no one saw coming. One of the richest men in the world, left forty-nine percent of his company to a sister my client never knew he had. A woman named Mia Saunders.

August has been one of my favorite months. Some twist and the book ended with me wanting more. Bring on September.

Which character – as performed by Summer Morton – was your favorite?

She does a great job giving the characters their own personality and makes the story easy to follow. Great Narration.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book was somewhat predictable but really great story. A few twist. I am excited to see what September brings and how she reacts to the new chain of events.

I need more. This story constantly made me want more. I loved that this story told us what happened to the city. I was wondering that during the last series. Great book!

Have you listened to any of Luke Daniels and Therese Plummer ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

THEY Did amazing. I am not sure if I have listen to them before but they are great. They really added the visual part of the book. Made the characters come to life and just added to the experience.

The second half to this year-long journey has taken me to Magic City...Miami. I've been hired by the nation's top hip-hop artist, Anton Santiago. His name is as sexy as he is, and it rolls off the tongue the same way his muscled form rolls to his music. He goes by the name Latin Lov-ah, and boy does he work that title from his rock-hard body, Latin hip-hop fusion dance moves, to the way he beds his women.

Looks as though my hot streak ended when Warren Shipley, one of the nation's wealthiest men, hired me to play arm-candy to save face with the other one-percenters he did business with. At least that's what I thought when I arrived in Washington, DC, until I was met by old man Shipley's debonair and insanely handsome son. The Senator from California, Aaron Shipley. Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, This series is great.

What was one of the most memorable moments of June?

The way Mia handled her situation at the end. She made no selfish demands and really showed a side to herself that I really needed to see. I applaud her strength. I am curious to see how this effects her mental and emotional moving forward with the year and accepting new clients.

Any additional comments?

I haven't really established a relationship with Mia's character. I have a hard time understanding some of her choices and how she handles certain situations. I really wish I could connect more to her character. She comes off very rude and steps out of her place often. However, the book is great. The other characters are great and I applaud them for putting up with Mia's immaturity sometimes.

June was a difficult month for Mia and she faced a horrible situation this month. She also dealt with many issues mentally from being away. However, she was able to really help her character with the success of his project and toward the end her character was a tad bit more admirable.

I headed to the island of Oahu, Hawaii, to meet with cutting-edge swimsuit fashion designer Angel D'Amico, to serve as head model for the "Beauty Comes in All Sizes" swimsuit campaign. The designer wanted to show the world that beauty is not just a size two. My curves got me into this gig, and the moment I laid eyes on my modeling "partner" I'd never been happier with my buxom form.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The book was different. It wasn't as exciting and some of the phrases to describe their sex was odd. At times making it awkward. Like boobs were referred to melons and her vag was a "Flower". There was a few sentences that made me laugh out loud which I can't imagine is the desired effect. Overall the book was a nice addition to the series. The ending was really cute.

Would you be willing to try another book from Audrey Carlan? Why or why not?

Of course. She is a talented writer. This is the weakest book of the series so far but I expect great things from June.

Which scene was your favorite?

The ending was really cute and the conversation she had to have with her sister was pretty funny.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yea, of course. This series should be made into a TV show.

Any additional comments?

Baseball, beer, and a hot boy. Nothing can beat that. Until I meet Mason "Mace" Murphy the next "it" pitcher for the Boston Red Sox and my client.
