I thought the writing of the story was choppy it bounces around from one thing to another and it's hard to follow back-and-forth. Also the reading was terrible difficult to pay attention to, and often mispronounced words. I feel that the author should've used a professional professional reader. However the stories about the children and the author strength as a mother we're heartwarming

This book seems to drag on more than any of the other books in the series. It is my least favorite of the series because of that. I kept waiting for it to end and I'm not sure why it just wasn't as cohesive as the other volumes.

I love this book. I think this is the best one yet that she has written. It made me cry like a fool cry and cry and cry but it was all for good because the story was outstanding!

This is another great story of how a classroom teacher can make a difference getting at the bottom of things with the student. Helping the student move forward, and etc. However, I can hardly stand the reader heard voice inflection goes up-and-down up-and-down and she emphasizes odd parts of sentences it was very difficult to get through because of that.

I found this volume more difficult to get into them the two first books in the series. I am not sure why this is but I just didn't find it as interesting and found it bounced too much between people and was a little disjointed I hope the fourth book is better.

This is a powerful coming-of-age story. I would recommend it to anyone. Especially those who feel as if they are down on their luck, whom have a disability, or other disadvantage.
