Starting in 1978 and ending in 2000, I worked in the music industry as a technician. My journey started in the bars and rock clubs on Long Island, New York, and eventually took me to arenas and stadiums around the world working for KISS, Alice Cooper, Stone Temple Pilots, and many other groups. This is my story. From club gigs after school as a teenager, to concerts on every continent on the planet.

Rise of the Warrior Cop traces the arc of US law enforcement from the constables and private justice of colonial times to present-day SWAT teams and riot cops. Today relentless "war on drugs" and "war on terror" pronouncements from politicians, along with battle-clad police forces with tanks and machine guns, have dangerously blurred the distinction between cop and soldier. Balko's fascinating, frightening narrative shows how martial rhetoric and reactionary policies have put modern law enforcement on a collision course with the values of a free society.

The cancer of "political correctness" has not only helped to form a society of insincere, oversensitive, and underachieving people - it has deprived individuals of the joy of living authentically and boldly, the life the late Henry David Thoreau called people to live when he implored us to move "confidently in the direction of our own dreams". Well, living authentically and boldly has never been a problem for Larry Winget. Known as the Pitbull of Personal Development®, Larry is not afraid to tell it like it is about what it takes to be successful.

Ann Coulter is back, more fearless than ever. In Adios, America she touches the third rail in American politics, attacking the immigration issue head-on and flying in the face of La Raza, the Democrats, a media determined to cover up immigrants' crimes, churches that get paid by the government for their "charity," and greedy Republican businessmen and campaign consultants - all of whom are profiting handsomely from mass immigration that's tearing the country apart.
