In Convicted we saw what happened that fateful afternoon at the Rawlings Estate. Now experience the shocking repercussions firsthand. More than a companion, this full-length novel fills in the gap of time that was only mentioned, beginning when Claire Nichols forgets and seen through the eyes of collective men (the HIS is plural). In Revealed: The Missing Years, listeners will see Anthony Rawlings fight for what belongs to him and cope with the reality of his past.

At first the death of William Baldwine, the head of the Bradford family, was ruled a suicide. But then his eldest son and sworn enemy, Edward, came forward and confessed to what was, in fact, a murder. Now in police custody, Edward mourns not the disintegration of his family or his loss of freedom...but the woman he left behind. His love, Sutton Smythe, is the only person he has ever truly cared about, but as she is the CEO of the Bradford Bourbon Company's biggest competitor, any relationship between them is impossible.

It wasn't great. It just seemed a tad ridiculous. And forced. I couldn't get into it, which is so sad because I really liked the first book. I have one more to go and I am hoping it picks back up. But this one was just disappointing, predictable, and unimaginative. Not what I'm used to from J.R. Ward.

Gideon calls me his angel, but he's the miracle in my life. My gorgeous, wounded warrior, so determined to slay my demons while refusing to face his own. The vows we'd exchanged should have bound us tighter than blood and flesh. Instead they opened old wounds, exposed pain and insecurities, and lured bitter enemies out of the shadows. I felt him slipping from my grasp, my greatest fears becoming my reality, my love tested in ways I wasn't sure I was strong enough to bear.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

A better story.

Has Captivated by You turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

How did the narrator detract from the book?

They just got kind of annoying after a while, but that had more to do with the story.

What character would you cut from Captivated by You?

I wouldn't cut anyone but maybe she could have not left us hanging on the whole sex tape thing...

Any additional comments?

Did she even try...

Nope...I'm done. Started off good, but man this last book was just ridiculous.

Has One with You turned you off from other books in this genre?

Nope, just books by her.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Jill Redfield and Jeremy York ?

I couldn't say.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It ended...

Any additional comments?

She could have wrapped this all up in the book before. This was complete foolishness.

What did you love best about Diverse Desires?

Allen and Rose, the incredible duo! Once again, you never let me down! These sexy stories are not your usual erotica. Oh no, there is soooo much more. The wicked twist of hot and horror make these stories stick with you. I found myself at the edge of my seat one each story. Allen has a gift for mixing the two (Read Shady Palms if you haven't yet, it was amaze balls!)

What was one of the most memorable moments of Diverse Desires?

Where do I begin? Every story had its own thing; revenge, war, murder....you name it! I think my favorite stories were Terminal Affair and Her Lovers Touch...

What about Rose Caraway’s performance did you like?

Rose has a voice that could melt butter! She's amazing! She hypnotizes you with the silky smoothness

Who was the most memorable character of Diverse Desires and why?

Canarie (sp?)

Editor Rachel Kramer Bussel notes that the lovers in this daringly romantic anthology are able to open up in the ways they do is precisely because they have another person to rely on, coax them, challenge them, tease them and seduce them into traveling down a new sexual path. Whether that means outdoor sex, kink, a trip to a strip club or a very sensual massage, we get to see how the layers of trust that have been built up get used to stoke the fire that burns between them.

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm not sure really...

What was most disappointing about Rachel Kramer Bussel’s story?

It wasn't the stories that were bad, in fact they were pretty decent for the most part. It was the reading/acting that took away from the stories. The performances were so bad sometimes (especially the guys) that it made it difficult to focus on the story. It was more comedy then erotic at times.

How could the performance have been better?

If they would have just been more natural, rather than trying for these macho sounding guys. It just sounded ridiculous at time. And that sucks because the stories were good, and I would have liked it better just reading it.

What character would you cut from Irresistible?

Can't say I would cut any one Character. There were no issues with characters. Each story presented it's own take on a type of person (different cultures or backgrounds). Like I said, it was more of the performance then the stories that I didn't like

Any additional comments?

I would consider maybe re-recording this with better acting.
