I loved this story; however, the narrator was the completely wrong choice! She sounds a lot like the older woman in NCIS Los Angeles, not a young woman. The previous narrator was great, why did they switch? I literally almost couldn't finish listening to the book.

New Take On Vamps and I Love It!

First and foremost, the narrator was absolutely fantastic! His deep voice felt like hot caramel being served over vanilla bean ice cream. YUM!

Then, the alpha male vamps... Phew! Get out a fan, a cold compress, something, anything! They are hooooooooot!

I also really loved how Nicole, although vulnerable, still is strong and kicks total ass! She isn't the typical, "Woe is me," character we've come to expect in vampire books.

Lastly, I really liked the idea of the "Crimson Rush." It's totally unique and paired with the idea of vamp social workers, it's just completely amazing!

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves vamps, action, hotness, and fantastic new takes on vamps!

Seriously, read this book!

One of the few white kids in a rural Kentucky town, Logan Whyte always kept to his own kind out of self-preservation. He never considered himself racist, but that didn't stop him from falling in with the wrong crowd--one that celebrated hate as much as he fought it--or from ending up in prison for eight years on an armed-robbery charge.

I'm a big fan of Inger Iversen and Incarcerated was everything I'd hope for and more!

A) Unique story line. I mean a prisoner and a warden's daughter? You just know that this is going to be intense!
B) Super hot and sexy scenes.
C) Did I mention the hot sexy scenes? HELLLLO!
D) The narrater did a fantastic job!

Seriously, I can't recommend this book enough! It tugs at your heart and delves into sensitive subjects. Your heart dips, dives, and soars while getting to know the characters Iversen has masterfully crafted. Also, who doesn't love a total bad boy with a huge heart?

Pick up this book on Audible and do it now!
