I'm Hailey Anne Monroe. I’m 28 years old. An artist, who found her muse on the canvas because I wasn’t allowed to have friends or even keep a journal. And yes, if you haven’t guessed by now, I’m that Hailey Anne Monroe, daughter to Thomas Frank Monroe, the man who was a half-percentage point from becoming president of the United States. If you were able to ask him, he’d probably tell you that I was the half point. But you can’t ask him, and he can’t tell you. He’s dead. They’re all dead and now I can speak.

I do not normally read books like this but I was sucked in from the 1st sentence. This book was in my recommended to read section and I am so glad that I did. Eva Kaminsky did an amazing job. She made this audible book come to life and the narration was on point. This book had me guessing at every turn. Hailey Ann Monroe has become one of my most favorite characters now. She is strong willed and very likeable.

LR Jones did an amazing job letting you get into Hailey's head and let you know what she was thinking. I really wanted Hailey to come out on top and get her HEA. There were times when I listened to this story and my stomach turned for her and it really pulled at my heart strings. I highly recommend this book.

It’s a role he’s not prepared for and one that he struggles to face. But his biggest challenge is fighting his desire for an unexpected, enigmatic young woman who’s recently arrived in England, possessing little more than a dangerous and troublesome past.

I am a huge E L James fan. I loved Fifty Shades books and their movies with that being said I waited patiently for this book to be released and when I listened to it I didn't compare it to Fifty. I went into this book with an open mind and I do not think it is fair to judge an author on a prior series. I went into listening this book as a new and refreshing story. I have looked at some of the other reviews and I personally do not agree, but that is just my opinion. I have seen a lot of reviews in the past of books and I would of missed out on a great story if I didn't listen for myself and have an open mind. With all that being said I loved this story. I couldn't stop listening and when I had to, I was excited to pick it right back up where I left off.

The story itself in my opinion is Unique and not really like any other book I have listened to in a long while. I feel as the story progressed and they grew as individuals and I how Alessia found herself as the story progressed I admired. I feel that Alessia helped Maxim mourn a great loss and loved how quickly their relationship evolved. I feel that Maxim was the Knight and shinning amour that she deserved and needed. In the beginning of the book I feel there is a big build up to their feelings and it was well written. I believe that if you are in a situation where you are around someone for longs periods of time and they were only person you could fall in love with them quickly because all you are doing is getting to know that person so for me that was not far fetched. I am a person in real life that knows pretty quickly if I like someone and want to get to them more so I related to that. I feel that E L James had the relationship progress at a rate that was appropriate.

I personally will recommend this book to anyone who will listen.

The narrators that were picked were perfect.

In most stories I am not a fan of 1st person & 3rd person being in the same narration but in this case and because of the language barrier at first I feel it was needed. I also loved how when the piano was played by a character you got to hear the beautiful music like you were there. That was a nice added bonus. I personally love playing the piano and I was so appreciative that it was added to this audio.

Not all that see this are going to agree but after reading what has been posted I wanted you to know that I came at this book from a different perspective and I really enjoyed it and will listen again. You do not have to agree with my assessment.

Six-foot-three. Dynamic green eyes. Utterly irresistible. Ethan Everest stole my breath the first time I saw him. He romanced me with skill, dazzled me with his charisma, and proceeded to steal my heart right after. I might have fallen for his easy-going smile the first time we met, but I fell for him the second time. Honey-colored hair. Cherry-kissed lips. Captivatingly gorgeous. Singer Davis was the first, and only, woman to ever intimidate me. She spoke to my heart with her wit, seduced me with her eyes, and became the only thing that made sense in a world that made none.

Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning. I was late for the first day at my new job - a job I’d now have to compete for, even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger. While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons. She’d ticketed a long line of cars - except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine. Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine.

I love Sebastian York and Andi Arendt and I love Vi Keeland so when this book came to audio I knew it was going to be and I wasn’t wrong.

I loved how the banter back and forth and the chemistry and I loved Lucas character. I really loved Bennett’s relationship with him.

I couldn’t stand the grandma (wanted to smack her a couple of times) I felt horrible for Lucas having to live with her.

I also wanted to throat punch Andrew. He was a complete tool .

I recommend this book and will listen to it again.

I am really disappointed that the same narrators weren’t used through the whole series.

Painful doesn’t begin to describe it. It took me over a month to get through this one.

I'm a lot of things - a screwup, a basket case, a flunky. But when I take a nanny job to be near my pregnant sister, I swear to myself I'll walk the straight and narrow, which means I cannot fall for my insanely hot boss. I don't want to be tempted by that rugged rancher. By his chiseled muscles or southern charm or the way he snuggles his kids at bedtime. Ethan Carter won't get the key to my heart, no matter how much I want him.

I loved the series and I love this author. Broken is one of my favorite trilogies so I wanted to see what this one was about.

Overall I loved the series. Broken is still my favorite but I would listen to this one again because I missed something’s the first tome around. There are some similar things to this trilogy and broken.

I feel like we didn’t get the ending we deserved in this one and not everything was tied up like I thought it was in broken. I feel like the 3rd book had a lot of unnecessary drama and a look into their future could had been given, like a proposal or a wedding or some indication of a true happily ever after but I didn’t get the feeling at the end.

I loved the characters and their story. I hope she does a book for Garett some days like she did for the black stone boys.

I would listen again but it will be a while from now.

I’m a huge fan of the broken trilogy. I have read it over 10 times. It my favorite trilogy to date.

As I was listening to this book there were some similar things I noted to that trilogy and this story line is so good. I can’t wait to listen to the next two books.

I believe there are two characters tied in from the broken trilogy in this book. It took me a little while to make the connection. But I was excited when I figured it out.

The only thing I would change is the narrator. She is flat and dry and her voice doesn’t change. I am not sure I will listen to any other books if she the narrator after I listen to this series. It is painful at times but the story line is so good that I am pushing through.

On to the next one.......
