Priceless, book one: "My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker." When children go missing and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. I'm on the FBI's wanted list. I have a werewolf for a pet, a Witch of a best friend, and no need for anyone else in my life. But when a salvage starts to spin out of control, help comes from a most unexpected direction.

Read the series a while back and saw this omnibus. Very good work on Shannon Mayer's part. Emma Galvin did a great job of reading so will have to look for more of her work. I knew that the Rylee series was a keeper now to just get more in Audibles. Thank You both.

My only complaint about this book is how long I waited for it. As Jane would say that is not her problem. I have enjoyed all the Jane Yellowrock books and short stories. Well written, well performed. Have recommended this series to quite a few of my friends that read. Faith Hunter please keep up the great work as I am looking forward to the next one

I have been listening to this series of books from the local library for a few years. Have now purchased entire series to listen to at my leisure over and over again.
Katlin is a well rounded character and the story is well told and consistent within Elantra.
Kristine Hvam does a great job of narration by bringing the story to life.

Thank you both

  • Missy the Werecat

When puberty brings on her first shift, Missy goes into the mountains for two years - until finally learning to change back. She can change from fully human in one instant to a mountain lion in the next. Everyone assumes her two-year disappearance was because she'd been kidnapped by a sexual predator that she managed to kill. She keeps her werecat nature a secret. There is no pack, no pride of other werecats, and no alpha.

What did you love best about Missy the Werecat?

I read the series at least 2 times and am waiting for book 6. The audio book is the same book but the format is easier for me as I drive a lot and listen on the road.

What other book might you compare Missy the Werecat to and why?

J.R. Rain's series with Samantha Moon as the lead character. Life changing event and stuff just piles up. Enjoy the way both authors have the lead character get out of the problems.

What about Meghan Kelly’s performance did you like?

Pleasant voice and after listening to chapter 1 I could see why she was selected to do Missy.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I have read the book a few times so no surprises but was enjoyable to listen all the same.

Any additional comments?

Write faster - ready for the next book and the one after that.
