Security is usually not his thing, but he finds himself unable to refuse the offer after meeting her in person. Jessica Winters wants nothing to do with The Judge, or any other biker for that matter, especially after being raped by one of the Devil's Rangers three years before. Okay, so first I'd like to state the only rating you can really go by with my review is the performance...I didn't make it enough into the book to rate the rest. I haven't listened to the other books in the series, this was my first and last. Honestly, I'm very interested in the story so I think I'll just buy the book and read it the old fashioned way. I feel, even though the narrator wasn't bad, her voice only fit the lead male when he was a little boy and obviously the woman. Nikki Diamond voicing the lead male as a grown man was cringe worthy. She made a grown man have the voice of a teen who hasn't hit puberty. For that reason I couldn't finish this book, I couldn't get past chapter 4.

A tyrant by day, a playboy by night. That's the reputation that precedes Richard VanRyan. He lives life the way he wants, no concern for the opinion of others. He cares for no one, is completely unrepentant, and has no desire to change his ways. Katharine Elliott works under Richard as his PA. She despises him and his questionable ethics, but endures all the garbage he sends her way, because she needs the job.

I never not finished a book, but I couldn't get through this one. I thought I was at the end and realized there was like 5 more chapters left. It dragged too much for me and it was hard to connect with the characters. Also Lanes narration is not horrible, but he pronounces some words very strange and its hard to look past when the make lead is 98% of the book. Also the male character went from a complete jerk off to..almost way to sappy of a person. This just wasn't for me.

Her life is full of structure, routine, and organization. Settled, comfortable, and content, corporate accountant Caroline Milton loves knowing what to expect every minute of every day. More importantly, she loves knowing her life is what she pictures it to be and not what she came from. The Catawba Hellions VP is a wild one, refusing to be tamed. His motto - "hit it, get it, and go; no repeats" - guarantees a new woman in his bed nightly.

I was a little disappointed. I guess I didn't like the story line for Rex and Lux. I couldn't feel the connection, it just felt like a rebound. Also, I didn't really like the dialog. I've been waiting for Rex's story because I was actually disappointed it was too late for him and Tessie, but this wasn't what I was expecting. It wasn't horrible but too much repeated from the Tessie story, like the way Lux becomes part of the Hellions. I just found myself skipping through some of it and actually zoning out while listening.

So you may ask, who is Adam Connor? He is the recently divorced, Academy Award-winning actor who just moved in next door with his kid. He also happens to be an exquisite male specimen and the most infuriating sly bastard I've ever come across. While I was being thoughtful by not breaking and entering, and was actually considering going over to offer him a shoulder to cry on (you know, because of his divorce), instead he had me thrown in jail after a small incident. Jail, people!

So let me start by saying that Lucy Rivers is pretty good at Blaze ...just sometimes sounds a little monotone. But Christian Fox as Tug...holy cow...I’m in love...his voice is so sexy! Also, he adds a softness to Tug and honestly out of all the men so far...Tug is my favorite. The story of these two is not only spicy, but super cute and definitely had me smiling at some parts and daydreaming at others. I’m in a relationship but Tug made me question if I want to quit my day job...becoming a stripper at a biker bar...and try to land a Tug.

So even though this wasn’t my absolute favorite, the story was good. What ruined it for me was the female lead. I felt like she constantly sounded whinny or like she was about to cry.
