Mississippi plantation mistress Amanda Satterfield loses her daughter to cholera after her husband refuses to treat her for what he considers to be a “slave disease.” Insane with grief, Amanda takes a newborn slave child as her own and names her Granada, much to the outrage of her husband and the amusement of their white neighbors. Would have given it a 4 1\2 , but the narrator for this book was Awful! I felt like I was listing to a high school graduation speech... She would pause in the middle of a sentence, and sometimes the pause would be so loooong, I thought the pause botton was accidentally hit .
I am so glad someone else read part 2.
But over all it was a good book, I just wish I'd gotten part one through my kindle and read it myself, and used my credit for LUXE 2.😕

Very disappointed . I got this book for free . And I was still mad.. what a waste of time. I should have known it was a terrible book from the beginning , when it said they were cursed with dark skin and hair. This book made a mockery out of the true Book of Enoch . .. what a joke and a waste of time .
