I knew on the day of the attack that our lives were changed forever. What I didn’t know then was that I’d never see John again after he deployed. One day he was living with me, sleeping next to me, making plans with me. The next day he was gone. That was five years ago. The world has moved on from that awful day, but I’m stuck in my own personal hell, waiting for a man who may be dead for all I know. At my sister’s wedding, I meet Eric, the brother of the groom, and my heart comes alive once again.

What an emotional rollercoaster. Five Years Gone is a fantastic story written by Marie Force. It is about a woman who found the love of her life, but after an attack, he was sent on a mission. Five years later she is determined to move forward with her life. It tells of her trials and tribulations.

I was emotionally invested in this story. I laughed, I cried and I enjoyed every moment. This is a must read story.

PS - Andi Arndt and Joe Arden do a phenomenal job of narrating this incredible story.

Ambitious intern Ashton Bailey is about to get closer to her dream of being a sports announcer. All she has to do is prove that too-perfect-to-be-true NFL quarterback Evan Dawson isn’t quite as wholesome as his contract requires. It’s also the perfect opportunity to get delicious payback on the boy who broke her teenage heart. At least that’s her plan. But she forgot just how easy it is to crush on the irresistible charmer. #OhNoNotAgain.

Sariah Wilson is fantastic at writing Sweet Romances. An Enemies to lovers premise is fantastic. #Awestruck is an amazing story. Ashton Bailey and Evan Dawson are amazing characters. She wants to be an NFL announcer. All she has to do is take down the town's star quarterback. Of course, he's the one guy who's she's held a grudge against for the past ten years. But will her perception of the past be the truth?

This was an entertaining story and I can't wait to see what Sariah comes up with next.

PS - Katie Koster does an excellent job narrating this story.

Kip Carmichael is no pretty boy. He's rough. Dirty. Giant. Hair so unruly, and a beard so thick, his friends on the team call him Sasquatch. The first time Sasquatch lays eyes on Theodora "Teddy" Johnson across the keg at a party one night on Jock Row, she'd been relegated to the sidelines by her jock-hungry "friends". Week after week, he watches beautiful but bashful Teddy getting overshadowed and overlooked. Sasquatch finally broad-shoulders his way through the crowd, offering to to be her hairy godmother. But the minute their eyes meet? He's a goner.

Sara Ney continues to create a fantastic world at Iowa State in her Jock Rule. This is the second book of her Jock Hard series and I continued to fall in love. She is a talented writer that knows how to draw you in and never let go. She created a world I want to visit over and over again. I felt all the feels with this story and I seriously want more!

This book is about a couple that meets on Jock Row at a party. She is the award girl trying to fit in, he is the tall bruiting guy everyone knows as Sasquatch. True to his name, he is tall, athletic and covered in hair, at least where she can see. To make matters worse, he seems to take it upon himself to insert himself into her life to give her some advice.

I didn't want this story to end. I can't wait to see what Sara Ney has in store for us next.

PS - Chelsea Hatfield and Jacob Morgan were entertaining as narrators and drew me into the story further.

Especially when one of them decides they want this arrangement to be more than just a catch and release.

Amy Daws some how made romance and ice fishing a thing. The premise of having her leading couple meet in a bait shop, was definitely a new concept, but boy did it work. Amy captivated my interest from the start, latched onto my heart and did not let go. Next in Line, can be read as a complete stand alone, but I love the world she created in her Wait With Me series.

Sam has everything he ever wanted. He has the love and support from his family, the job he's been working for is finally becoming his, and he's content with being single. The last thing he needs is a feisty firecracker of a girl to distract him. God help him when he finds out, she's his best friend's little sister.

This book is a whirlwind of emotions. I laughed, I cried. I loved every freaking minute of it. My only regret is that it had to end. I want more from this incredible world Amy Daws has created.

PS - the audio versions of this is fantastic. Erin Mallon and Teddy Hamilton do a great job of bringing the world Amy Daws created. I love this terrific trifecta.

I'm breaking up with setups. No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

Luke Suit is a quick fun read about two unlikely people meeting. One is completely against on-line dating, and the other might just be willing to give it a try. With an intervention unknown to them, they hit it off. Through flirty texts and online messaging, the pair might just have found their luck at more than poker.

I love stories written by Lauren Blakely. I only wish it was longer as I enjoyed this from start to finish.

PS - Zachary Webber and Andi Arndt were phenomenal at narrating this amazing story. It created the perfect trifecta for my experience.

My life was perfect - until a shocking tragedy pulled the rug out from underneath me. My children were left without a father. I was without a husband and a provider. Instead of wallowing in my grief, I buried myself in my work at Dovetail Enterprises. Landing the promotion as the CEO’s right hand was exactly what I needed. Getting saddled with Milo Huxley as an assistant is exactly the opposite. I can’t stand him. He’s arrogant, irresponsible, and out for my job. As if that’s not bad enough, he has to be devastatingly sexy, and have a posh English accent that makes me squirm on top of it all.

Corinne Michaels did it to me again. I should know better by now. I needed to have uninterrupted time, tissues, and a comfy place to experience If I only Knew. I absolutely loved this story. I laughed. I cried, I felt each and every emotion possible as I went through Dani and Milo's trials and tribulations.

Danielle had everything going her way, until tragedy struck, knocking her world off orbit. As she picked up the pieces of her life to get it back on track, she is given the opportunity of a lifetime to advance her career.

The only problem is she has to hire her boss' brother as her assistant. Milo's reputation precedes him. He's slightly, a player and least of all responsible. He has one thing on his mind... to get his job back. Unfortunately, that belongs to Danielle at the moment.

I love how Corinne's voice comes through her characters. I love their sass, their sexiness, and their confidence. The world she created is one I never want to leave. I absolutely love this book. My only problem with it is that it ended.

I can't wait for more form Corrine Michaels!

PS - The audio version is spectacular. Sophie Eastlake and Shane East are a dynamic duo who bring Corinne's words to life.

Finding Alexei is a fantastic read by Kendall Ryan. I enjoyed every moment and never wanted it to end. Even though this is a complete stand alone and not part of a series, it is a part of a fantastic world Kendall has created. I first met Alexei "Alex" in Dear Jane. I was intrigued by his background and couldn't wait to get his own story. I was not disappointed.

Alexei is so much more than I expected. He meets a complete stranger and does the unexpected. He helps. With no strings attached. It is so rare to hear about stories like this.

I love his devotion, combustible chemistry and everything about him in this story. My only wish is that it would have been longer, as I never wanted this story to end.

PS - Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke do a phenomenal job of narrating this story. I am quickly becoming fans of theirs as well as Kendall Ryan. I also loved the bonus content.

It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.
