Would you listen to Love After Hours again? Why?

No. As much as I loved the story, I'm simply not a fan of the narrator.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Blake and Margie. They're just so darn cute together.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Paige McKinney?

Collen Marlowe. Paige McKinney sounded as if she was reading to a bunch of 5th graders. I mean it is an adult romance, after all.

Any additional comments?

This is the reason why I started reading Radclyffe in the first place. Her story telling and character development is what first drew me to her work. Unfortunately, her recent stuff has been a bit dull and started to turn me off. It's nice to see her get back to old school where the stories are good and the sex is hot. If I have one complaint, it's that the main characters, Carrie and Gina reminded me of Devon and Leslie from, "Where Dreams Tremble". Still I loved this story and am looking forward to more at the Rivers. Hopefully, she would do something with Pam. It would be nice to have more women of color as major characters in the Radclyffe universe.

What made the experience of listening to Prescription for Love the most enjoyable?

Abby Craden, nuff said

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ida Rivers. She's the matriarch of the Rivers clan who hasn't lost her southern charm even though she married a Yankee.

What does Abby Craden bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Depth to the characters.

If you could take any character from Prescription for Love out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Carrie cause she's such a sweetheart.

Any additional comments?

I'm looking for more in this setting. I love the Rivers and the supporting cast and I hope that this is the beginning of a series.

What did you love best about Against Doctor’s Orders?

It was nice to get back to the medical romance. It was what hooked me onto Radclyfee in the first place.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Against Doctor’s Orders?

Meeting the Rivers family. Ida and Margie are treasures.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I loved the dialog between the characters as well as the voice distinctions. But Eva Kimberly's narration sounded as if she was bored.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Doesn't need one

Any additional comments?

I was glad that Radclyfee went back to doing romance with a medical theme. It was like coming home. I love the Honor series as well and the Provincetown and First Responders series, so I'm hoping that her new series would center around, The Rivers.

What did you love best about Innocent Hearts?

The Story. The way that Jessie and Kate discovered their love for each other

What other book might you compare Innocent Hearts to and why?

There are some very good lesbian westerns, but not many in audio.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

Just plain bad.

If you could rename Innocent Hearts, what would you call it?

Love In New Hope

Any additional comments?

It would be nice if there were more of this type in audio. From what I've seen, there aren't that many.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I read Promising Heart a while ago and was hoping that it'll go to audio. I wasn't disappointed.

What did you like best about this story?

The love between Mae and Vance and Jessie and Kate. I also was happy to see that Kate's mother finally accepted her and Jessie's love for each other.

What about Lori Prince’s performance did you like?

She was good, but I had to speed up the pace a bit because her reading was a bit slow.

Who was the most memorable character of Promising Hearts and why?

Mae. She was always my favorite character. I just wish there was more of a back story on her.

Any additional comments?

A good story with some good narration. I hope that Radcylffe would write more like this. I am tired of the same old same and something fresh and new would be nice.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, I love Nicol Zanzarella's narration.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

The stalker/killer would have been someone different

Which character – as performed by Nicol Zanzarella – was your favorite?

Allie Tremont, without a doubt. Nicol Zanzarella does an amazing job with her voice.

Did Returning Tides inspire you to do anything?

No.

Any additional comments?

I was a little disappointed in this installment of the Provincetown tales. Too predictable and I had trouble with who the stalker/killer turned out to be. Wasn't much of a surprise there. I also thought that a little more time could have been spent on Allie and Ash. Especially when you consider the way Ash left Allie. Over all good just not as good as the others.

The reintroduction of Honor Blake and Quinn Maguire.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Crossroads?

The conversation between Arly and her mom when 12 year old Arly was asked to a party by a boy who was 16. I loved the image of Honor had of Quinn throttling the boy.

What does Lauren Fortgang bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The distinct voice variation between Annie and Hollis.

If you could take any character from Crossroads out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Annie Colfax because I'm a sucker for blonde hair and green eyes.

A classic case of judging a book by it's cover. There were just too much straight sex and MFF threesomes for this to be a book about lesbian erotica. The narrators weren't bad, but good have been better. It's good erotica but all lesbian. Still worth a look.

Would you consider the audio edition of Winds of Fortune to be better than the print version?

Yes, I'm a fan of Nicol Zarnzarella

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dr. Bonita Burgoyne. I love her back story and the fact that out of all the Radclyffe books that I've read, Nita is the only woman of color that was featured as one of the main characters.

What does Nicol Zanzarella bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The emotions she puts behind the words.

Who was the most memorable character of Winds of Fortune and why?

Bonita Burgoyne for the same reasons that she's my favorite character.

Any additional comments?

In this version of the Provincetown saga, the violence comes not from human nature, but mother nature. The romance or should I say sexual attraction between Nita and Dao was nothing short than smoking hot. As always, the story was captivating and the supporting cast was as good as ever. Reese and Tori's love is still going strong as well as Bri and Carre. Allie is still the hottest cop in Provincetown. I'm so looking forward to finishing the series. As before, highly recommend.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes I would. But I would also recommend that my friend start from book one and work they're way up. This is one of the few series that each book is as good as the last.

Who was your favorite character and why?

In this one, it was Tory. Seeing what she had to go through while Reese was in the middle east was heartbreaking.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Tory met Reese's father for the first time. That was so cool.

Who was the most memorable character of Storms of Change and why?

General Colon, cause up to that point he was only a name.

Any additional comments?

Just like the first three, Storms Of Change is well written and well narrated. Once again, Nicol Zanzarella did another masterful job. Reese was called to war and her wife Tory was left with their daughter and a lot of 'what if's'. Meanwhile, Carter Wayne is undercover in the hopes of getting evidence against reputed mob boss, Alfonse Pareto but ends up falling in love with his daughter, Rica who has her own problems with a crazy cousin who thinks that she's his. Highly recommended.
