This is the shocking, true story of survival - and the intense bond June shared with her pathologically violent husband, a monster who physically and sexually tortured, degraded, and dominated her so relentlessly she refused to believe he was dead even after she killed him.

Never have I listened to an audiobook that brought tears to my eyes. In all my 65 years I have been lucky to never have experienced such a horrific experience in my life and now I understand just how and why women stay in this kind of relationship it’s not a choice of their on but a choice of survival. I pray June has been able to reconnect with her children and have a positive impact on their life. I’m happy that she found a man who will treat her with the respect she so deserves.
Wonderfully written.

Aunt pearl is a hoot in this book as she was in book two. Cen is engaged to Braden the town mayor who also happens to be in the process of trying to sell her family home and property. Than there is the murder of the developer. I absolutely love this author and her ability to write this wonderful story line of witch’s and the new sheriff in town.

We live in a culture of consumerism. We are constantly told buying more products will improve our quality of life and bring us happiness. However, out of the madness of mass consumerism, a new trend is developing. This new trend emphasizes “less is more” and people who follow it strive to live their best life with as little as possible. This trend is called minimalism.

I never thought of myself as a minimalist before I listened to this book. Most of this I have been doing for a long time. So I guess in a way I am a minimalist. But he did talk about cleaning and that really got me to thinking, I have a attic full of stuff that I see some of once a year. The rest of stuff has been up there for years and I have no clue what is there. Need to do some cleaning.
Also I love the financial and time management that he spoke about.

I have never really been interested in sci-fi but for some reason this book had my attention from the beginning to the end. Reading the book and watching a show on TV set 250 years in the future makes me realize its a nice place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there.
All the war ships fighting its worse in the future but at least they still have romance. This book had a little bit of mystery murder romance mind erasing hatred and an asteroid that had been hollowed out and people were living inside like it was earth.

It is as scary as it is exciting: this is how most people would describe a paranormal experience. While others encounter it even when they don't want to, others search for the thrill, going so far as visiting places out of the country just so they can feel the suspense. Haunted forests, abandoned ghost towns, creepy creatures, cursed roads, and other paranormal events - all these things happen for a reason. Murder victims manifest themselves perhaps because their justice is still not achieved, or perhaps, they simply were not ready to go.
