A call to arms against BRUNCH...and a how-to guide for fighting back, from the hosts of the hit podcast and public radio show The Dinner Party Download. Society is under threat. The culprit? Brunch. Not merely a forum for overpriced eggs, brunch is a leisure-time-squandering hellscape, embodying all that is soul-killing and alienating about modern life.

Almost didn’t make it through the first hour. We get it, you don’t like brunch and after hearing the 60 minutes of complaints and dictating on why you think brunch is bad, I feel I like brunch even more than I did to begin with. I listened to every episode of the dinner party download to hear about your experiences on food, movies, music, interviews, and great story telling. Not telling what is good or bad like a far right or far left political type.

Smart, hilarious, and incisive, the Liberal Rednecks confront outdated traditions and intolerant attitudes, tackling everything people think they know about the South - the good, the bad, the glorious, and the shameful - in a laugh-out-loud funny and lively manifesto for the rise of a New South. Home to some of the best music, athletes, soldiers, whiskey, waffles, and weather the country has to offer, the South has also been bathing in backward bathroom bills and other bigoted legislation.

Great book! Hopefully one of these boys gets their stuff together and runs for office. They could bridge the red/blue political gap that seems to be growing.....

The boys are incredibly entertaining and my family and I really enjoy their video's on you tube. It's an amazing story on how they evolved and I enjoyed the book, but giving thanks to God isn't why I purchased this book. If God is in their lives and gives them strength and confidence, good for them. I just don't want to hear about it in a book about five friends who post crazy trick shots on you tube.

Football fans will love this insight into the life and mind of Big Sam. With nearly 20 years as a player - plus almost 25 years as a coach and manager - under his belt, Sam Allardyce is one of the most recognisable figures in British football. 'Big Sam' has been a robust defensive general throughout the seventies and eighties, and an imposing touchline presence as a gaffer since 1994. Over the last four decades, Allardyce has seen it all.

Sam was and still is a brilliant manger and for those of you who think likewise should read this book and allow Allardyce to explain how he's not a long ball coach. He uses his players strengths and exploits his opponents weaknesses as a great tactician would. Throughly love this book and highly recommend it!
