My name is Alexis Delaney, and I'm your average 17-year-old girl. Except I'm a Necromancer. Which means I can see the dead, talk to them, and help them move on. Well, I used to be able to. Someone has sealed the Veil. Now the dead are stuck here. And with the extra energy floating around town, the ghosts are getting stronger. It's been two months since I came to Spring Mountain to live with Uncle Rory. And the guys, my five best friends, have done everything they can to help since.

I had bought the ebook a while back and I was skipping thru the lovey-dovey stuff with Dylan when a thought struck : « Why not get the audiobook as well? »
They were stuff I enjoyed reading but to get the issue involving Dylan the audiobook definetely helped. I also don’t think Dylan was the real issue here. Lexxie hadn’t been authentic with Dylan nor with herself almost from the start. Anyhoo, very inspiring stuff! Thank you B.L.!😋✨❤️

I read the first two books and only listened to this one. To me this trilogy isn’t meant to just entertain. It’s not just great fantasy/science-fiction/dystopia.

That is why I treasure it and would listen to this last tome again and again.

It’s an essay —it’s only 3 tomes!—about some persistent human tendancies like « wanting attention » and how those tendancies manifested themselves throughout History.

I like how non-pedantic it is : we all make mistakes, we all fear at least one thing, we’re all human.

I don’t plan on getting the first two in Audible format.
From reading previous comments before buying this : yes, it would have been nice to have someone who could do an American AND a British accent instead of British all the way...
I guess I got lucky that way.
I soon forgot about it and immersed myself in the story and its message.

We’ve seen a lot of young adult fiction...I’m grateful for this ADULT fiction.

Are you ready to break free? Are you ready to experience miracles? Are you ready to melt limitations? Virtually everything you do is a result of the unconscious mind causing you to act out of programming that you barely know exists. Without addressing your belief system, you risk allowing it to undermine all of your efforts. Yet you have more power and control over your unconscious mind than you ever suspected.

Weirdly enough the world building seems both effortless and rich. Highly recommend.

Researcher and thought leader Dr. Brené Brown offers a powerful new vision that encourages us to dare greatly: to embrace vulnerability and imperfection, to live wholeheartedly, and to courageously engage in our lives. In Daring Greatly, Dr. Brown challenges everything we think we know about vulnerability. Based on 12 years of research, her book argues that vulnerability is not weakness but rather our clearest path to courage, engagement, and meaningful connection.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Listen to the sample of The power of Vulnerability and compare it with Daring Greatly's sample. If you still would like to purchase Daring Greatly with Karen White narrating it then go right ahead.I listened to The power of vulnerability's sample after purchasing Daring Greatly and within seconds, I was laughing while really getting what Dr. Brene Brown was talking about. Even if I purchased it while it was in sale, I sort of regretted it.Dr. Brown should really be the one narrating. having the same formula as The Power of Vulnerability for narration would be best.

Would you be willing to try another one of Karen White’s performances?

Sure, but not for this material.

The reason for this vengeance is a secret Arman trusts with no one, quite the opposite of his obvious longtime pursuit of the chateau's overseer, Linus Hobbes. Despite Arman's reputation as a loner, the only thing he needs to complete his life is Linus. Predator and prey just don't mix, but Arman won't give him up.

Well, not really a bad guy IMO, just a real person.
I regret not having a shifter-vampire TV show written by Mary Calmes. We need her no nonsense writing style in our TV lives as well.

Of course the other characters shine as well but Armand is...the most unforgettable one and his loving relationship is to die for.

This is the first book I read of M.C. and I crave for more.

Not for everyone.
I personally stumbled on it because I grew bored and tired of the interchangeable muscular alpha males in the hetero romance section and the female airheads serving as heroine.

There is A LOT of sex that goes quite well with the plot.

I prefer this last volume over the first one. Never understood the attraction nor liked Joran with the old instructor. There was a lot of their coupling in volume 1.

The narrator, when doing sir Roy's voice, is too theatrical in my opinion.

Worth a credit? Well if you aren't shy...YES!
