The bride is a doll. The groom is the perfect gentleman. But the rest of the wedding party? They're the stuff of nightmares. Rich? Check. Vapid? Double check. Entitled? Not enough checks in the world. And the best man? More like the worst man. But maid of honor Franchesca takes her duties seriously. Kidnapped groom? She's got this. Rude attendees? You just watch her handle them. So a best man with a big attitude and an even bigger...checkbook? Yeah, there's no way she's going to let that pretentious, judgmental jackhole ruin her best friend's wedding. No matter how sexy he is.

I read this book on kindle and was waiting expectantly for the audio version. I’m not disappointed. If I loved the book before, is even better on audio! The narrator is extremely good and does the many characters justice. You have Romance, intrigue, drama, unexpected situations and it’s done with so much humor you can’t help but laugh out loud! Frankie is my type of heroine and I identify myself with her more than any other of Lucy’s characters. Aiden, even though he is the worse best man, has a sensitive side that Frankie brings out. The banter between them is great and the side characters, especially Frankie’s family are fantastic! This audiobook It’s so worth the credit and it’s definitely one of those book I’d be listening again and again.

In this modern-retelling of "Beauty and the Beast", Savannah Carmichael, betrayed by an unreliable source, returns to her hometown of Danvers, Virginia, with her once-promising journalism career in ruins. Given the opportunity to get back in the game by writing a patriotic human interest piece, Savannah turns her attention to the town hermit, Asher Lee, a wounded veteran who returned to Danvers eight years ago, and hasn't been seen since.

I enjoyed this story very much. The author’s use of the details of Beauty and the Beast would make any fan happy. The narration lacked a bit of emotion and change of voices. The editing was really poor and I kept adjusting the volume plus sometimes it played on top of other parts. I continued to listen because I wanted to know the end of the story. It’s great!!!

Olivia Kiskey needs a change. She’s been working at the same Nodaway Falls, New York, waffle house since she was a teenager; not a lot of upward mobility there. She’s been in love with Tobias, the cook, for the last four years; he's never made a move. Intent on shaking things up, Olivia puts her house on the market, buys a one-way ticket to Europe, and announces her plans to her friends - but then she meets Davina Granville, a strange and mystical Southern woman....

When it comes to women, I know what they want. And all day long, I give it to them. Dark, broody, and sexy? You got it. Need to laugh? I'm your guy. Desperate for something to put you in the mood? You've come to the right place, kitten. Every morning when my library opens, there's a line around the block, the ladies flocking to me in need of their next book boyfriend. I'm that dude. The one who knows his way around the romance section. And if you think that hasn't gotten me plenty of action over the years, you'd be wrong.

I’ve read this book when it came out and like everything Pippa Grant it was a funny story. Pippa’s metaphors and imagination goes beyond anything you heard before and she writes uniques characters. Parker and Knox tells a story about a guy who enjoys reading and recommending romance books and Parker needs help with her romantic life. These two along with brothers, grandmas and unicorn parties makes it for a very funny listen!

The happiest day of Payton Lambert's life was the day she graduated high school and watched Bald Knob, Kentucky, get smaller and smaller in her rearview mirror. She wanted more for her life than a tiny town where everyone knows your business and you can't find a decent cup of coffee for at least 40 miles. Twelve years later an unexpected phone call in the middle of the night has her packing up her life in Chicago and racing back home to the one person she ever regretted leaving behind.

Love the story line. Tara Sivec writes great romantic comedy. The only think I didn’t like much was the narration. The narrator went back and forth with the southern accent. It was confusing, but I’d still give 9!

According to the law of attraction, women and men can't be friends. Contrary to this myth, my friendship with Coriander Phillips does not rest on unrequited love or un-actualized lust. We've been inseparable since the day I pulled one of her pigtails and she punched me in the gut. She's hilarious, fun to hang out with. Together, we're like peanut butter and jelly, spaghetti and meatballs, wings and beer. A match made in heaven.
