John was 15 when it began. Visions, voices, feelings, an ability to make up stories about the future that, uncannily, came true. Actually, in retrospect, he was probably much younger than that, but it wasn't until he reached his teens that he realized his abilities were extraordinary. John Edward is now a renowned psychic medium whose talents are matched by only a handful of people in the world. One Last Time is his remarkable story.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

well only if you have read the other 3, then I am not sure. It is a long and strange series mostly a romance novel.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Drums of Autumn?

the daughter and her boyfriend, the child and them getting stuck in the past.

Which character – as performed by Davina Porter – was your favorite?

I always like Claire and Jamie the best when she acts it out.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Looking for my father....

Any additional comments?

Just a long detailed book that does transport you to the past. It is funny that Claire spent an uneventful 20 years from 1948-68 in her time, but goes to the past and is instantly met with upheaval and strange things happening from every angel. I am inclined to believe that it's all Jamie's fault.

What did you like best about The Woods? What did you like least?

It kept your attention and was a goose chase that was wild but not too crazy. Lots of memory issues, not flash backs, the truth was hidden.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Was surprised about the way it ended but not like some of it was not comming. You could see it to a degree, but not so much that you knew exactly who and why right away.

What does Scott Brick bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has issues doing women charaters, not the best but was okay overall.

Do you think The Woods needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No it was closed. The only thing it could follow up with was the guy in jail, and that would be a pre-qual to this book, which would be cool.

Any additional comments?

This was a quick summer read, not a lot of mental issues, no major thought required.

If you could sum up The Girl in the Ice in three words, what would they be?

It was truly a good book until the ending, it seemed a little too out of left field for an ending. A good chase for everything but not a great ending and it was too nice and neat to be a good ending, the way it ended.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

Mostly, it was cool to see a brit crime and cop situation

What about Jan Cramer’s performance did you like?

she was good at all the character performances, I am not familiar with accents but she did quiet a few.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

mostly but I feel like it was slow in the beginning and captured my attention shortly into it.

Any additional comments?

Was over all good book.
