How could a loving God send people to Hell? Will people have a chance after they die to believe in Jesus and go to heaven? With a humble respect for God’s Word, Francis Chan and Preston Sprinkle address the deepest questions you have about eternal destiny. They’ve asked the same questions. Like you, sometimes they just don’t want to believe in Hell. But, as they write, “We cannot afford to be wrong on this issue.” This is not a book about who is saying what. It’s a book about what God says.

Four years later, in this midst of his great sadness, Mack receives a suspicious note, apparently from God, inviting him back to that shack for a weekend. Against his better judgment he arrives at the shack one wintry afternoon and walks back into his darkest nightmare. What he finds there will change his life forever.

From God's original intent for His church, to the ways in which He uses us today, and the reasons why people attend and leave the church, this series emphasizes the importance of the Church and the need to revere it as divinely established.

The event shook her deeply and eventually led her to enroll in a PhD program to research NDEs. The findings, along with the profound spiritual lessons that she has gleaned from her work, are published here. During her academic work, Dr. Sartori studied three samples of ICU patients during a five year period.

Every physicist agrees quantum mechanics is among humanity's finest scientific achievements. But ask what it means, and the result will be a brawl. For a century, most physicists have followed Niels Bohr's Copenhagen interpretation and dismissed questions about the reality underlying quantum physics as meaningless. A mishmash of solipsism and poor reasoning, Copenhagen endured, as Bohr's students vigorously protected his legacy, and the physics community favored practical experiments over philosophical arguments.

Setting aside the pervasive material bias of science and lifting the obscuring fog of religious sectarianism reveals a surprisingly clear unity of science and religion. The explanations of transcendent phenomena given by saints, sages, and near-death experiencers are fully congruent with scientific discoveries in the fields of relativity, quantum physics, medicine, M-theory, neuroscience, and quantum biology. The Physics of God describes the intersections of science and religion.

Russell has a way of communicating that is almost hypocritical. It’s hard to stop listening to him. The down to earth brilliant way he brings deep truths down where the rubber meets the road is astonishing. I am a Christian and I could have done without the many F-bombs which seemed so out of place in an otherwise excellent work. This was the reason for the 4 stars on performance. I’m an adult and wasn’t undone by them so continued on listening to this very helpful program. Thanks

Not much help here for me. The only reason I gave it two stars overall was because it is a Christian book. In my opinion he didn’t come close to addressing real men’s struggles; mostly written from a woman’s perspective, probably his wife’s. I’ve lived as a Christian for over 40 years and am well aware of our need for grace. I was hoping he would address the struggles of a “normal” person; we are not all perverts. Although we all do struggle with sexual sins especially in today’s world and especially NORMAL MEN. He didn’t even touch the sort of situation I have in my marriage; which I won’t get into here but imagine there are many MEN out there with the same issues. I listened to the book nonstop strait through hoping to find some help somewhere in it , finding none. I hope I can return it.
