Samantha has a breakdown on camera while working as a crime reporter in the big city. She returns to her family and hometown to start over. She is given a job with the local newspaper as a pet reporter. Sam goes to interview her first client and finds her dead, Is it natural causes or foul play?!! Sam must investigate as the police are doing nothing.

This was a great story with a surprise ending and interesting characters. The story was nicely read by the narrator but I gave it a 3 instead of a 5 because of the recording errors that need to be fixed. Otherwise, great book! This was a very short listen with a helpful accompanying PDF. I think the tips are great. I think this would be helpful for the college student and someone on their own for the first time.

Even though we are warned from the beginning that its a short book, I still wanted it to continue with some menu planning ideas, some basic daily nutrition suggestions and some more basic cooking ideas. A part 2 book would be great.
