At once wildly original and stuffed with irresistible nostalgia, Ready Player One is a spectacularly genre-busting, ambitious, and charming debut—part quest novel, part love story, and part virtual space opera set in a universe where spell-slinging mages battle giant Japanese robots, entire planets are inspired by Blade Runner, and flying DeLoreans achieve light speed.

As a huge fan of the movie, I was very pleasantly surprised by the performance of the cast on this book. Puzo's description of the mafioso underworld is excellent. Also, I enjoyed the depth of all the characters that the movie is unable to provide. I would definitely recommend this book.

I found this to be a great listen. Praying is something I haven't take full advantage of as a Christian. Tim Keller suggests that prayer is the only way to get closer to Jesus. I believe it was Paul who prayed most sincerely for his fellow Christians to know the lord better.

Mickey Ward embraced his tough surroundings and through faith and sheer determination he literally fought his way to the top! While never forgetting his friends, his family, and where he came from. I would recommend this book to anyone. Bronson Pinchot is terrific as well.
