Coupling stories of abused women and abusive men from her own case studies, Patricia Evans here gives you the tools you need to transform your relationship. Most important, she assures you that such a transformation is possible—given the right circumstances. Evans also helps you determine if your abuser really has changed—or if he’s merely creating the illusion of change. And if he hasn’t changed, Evans helps you decide whether it’s time to leave the relationship—and what to do when it is.

The content is dangerous in the hands of hurt couples the look for excuses to not try to understand each other. It is biased and provides dangerous advise. There are great books out there that provide explanations for both men and women behavior and give good advice.

This series of 24 lectures examines a crucial period in the history of the ancient world, the age ushered in by the extraordinary conquests of Alexander the Great. In all the annals of the ancient world, few stories are more gripping than those from this era. In the opening lectures, you'll explore the enigma of Alexander, son of a brilliant father, yet always at odds with the man whom he succeeded. Just as important to these lectures are the in-depth discussions of the bounties of Hellenistic culture, which contributed landmark ideas in everything from philosophy, art and architecture, and religion.

This book is a great effort to bridge military history, biographies of great historical leaders and modern business practice and theory. We need more of this type of books and we need more study of history for the purpose of drowning useful conclusions from it and distill them in theories and axioms. While the effort is admirable as an idea, I do need to warn young and a unexperienced readers that: his final conclusion of using intimidation and aggression to succeed in business, unless you work in a ship yard or in a prison or in a third world country or a jungle, not only will not work but it will destroy your reputation for ever. If your environment is a modern western values based environmental, especially Northern America you need to read other material like Grant Cardone’s ect to get what you need. Don’t follow the advice of this book, especially if you are already a competitive business person, it will exacerbate your already existing competitive personality out of proportions.

We're in the middle of an epidemic of average. So-called "normal" people get up every day, go to work, do what's asked of them, leave promptly at five, and return home to sit on the couch and watch TV. Society tells us that this is what it means to lead a balanced life. Don't stress too much or work too hard. Your career isn't everything. But Grant Cardone thinks this preoccupation with balance has really just given an excuse to be mediocre.
