When it comes to insult comics, Bianca Del Rio is in a class by herself. Fierce, funny, and fabulous - a would-be love child sired by John Waters and birthed by Joan Rivers - Bianca sandblasted her name in the annals of pop culture on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Thanks to her snarky frankness, impeccable comedic timing, and politically incorrect humor, she became the show’s breakout star, winning its sixth season. In Blame It on Bianca Del Rio, Bianca shares her opinions loudly and proudly, offering raucous, hilarious, no-holds-barred commentary on annoyances, big and small.

If you listen to only one audiobook this year then you really need to listen to more books you troglodyte. This book should be on your list. It’s great listening to Bianca Del Río read her book to you because you get the full effect of her delivery. If you are easily offended than you might need to look elsewhere for your laughs.

You are a failed novelist about to turn 50. A wedding invitation arrives in the mail: Your boyfriend of the past nine years is engaged to someone else. You can't say yes - it would be too awkward - and you can't say no - it would look like defeat. On your desk are a series of invitations to half-baked literary events around the world. Question: How do you arrange to skip town? Answer: You accept them all.

In 2005, Dan Bucatinsky and his partner, Don Roos, found themselves in an L.A. delivery room, decked out in disposable scrubs from shower cap to booties, to welcome their adopted baby girl - launching their frantic yet memorable adventures into fatherhood. Two and a half years later, the same birth mother - a heroically generous, pack-a-day teen with a passion for Bridezilla marathons and Mountain Dew - delivered a son into the couple’s arms.

I enjoyed this book. Though I disagree with Dan's stance on surrogacy, it was nice to learn about another gay couple's experience with having children. It also gave me some great ideas on how to handle questions that will inevitably arise from my own children. Overall a funny, entertaining, and informative book. I'd recommend this to any couple, gay and straight, who have gone through either adoption or surrogacy.

What an amazing book. I had no idea what to expect about this book other than it had a lot of good buzz. The pacing is excellent, it is very imaginative, and has an excellent narrator. If I had had time, I would have listened to the book straight through. If you like alternate timeline and multiverse science fiction you will love this book. But you don’t even need to be a sci-fi fan to enjoy it.

I like this book and the audiobook immensely. They are full of invaluable information that can save you time and money while trying to get the body you want. My only problem with the audiobook is that for me, it is too difficult to visualize the stretches and workout programs without having the visuals of the book. This is also true for the calculations/formulas given throughout the book. You really need the physical book to get the most out of this material.

This is a lighthearted comedic version of a vampire story. It tells the tale of a morbidly obese man who is changed into a vampire, who finds out that he is now permanently stuck at his 350lbs. The story is well written with a great performance. It's shorter than most audiobooks that I enjoy, but it does the job in telling a great story.

A very well written novel, but at the same time, it is completely twisted. It does keep you constantly wanting to know what comes next. It's been compared a lot to Gone Girl and Girl on the Train, but I don't see the similarities. I'd say it's closer to Dexter.

It's told through the eyes of a serial killer and stalker. While very original, it is not my type of book.
