Loved this story start to finish. Yes, it was predictable but I think the author did a great job with the amnesia aspect. I thought the narration was especially well done. It was a good, clean, entertaining read. Great for road trips or just a sweet getaway. Would recommend it for a ages. Although not really necessary, I would recommend reading book one in the series first. Hopefully more will be coming soon.

Really enjoyed this book. Lots of action; fast moving. The narration was very well done. some language issues but not excessive. no steamy sex scenes... no time for That! Would recommend for men or women. Great road trip book in the audio format. Looking forward to the sequel which I have downloaded and ready for great listening entertainment!

On a sunny day in July, Clare Prentice arrives in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Although she is on assignment to interview the town's notoriously reclusive novelist Nate Hanssen, Clare is really in search of a different story - her story. Just months before, Clare was a bride-to-be, living in Chicago and looking to the future - until the day she learned her entire life had been a lie. Not only was Clare adopted, but there is no record that she or her adoptive mother ever existed. The only clue is a class ring from Grand Rapids Senior High School.

I loved the plot to this book. It was a clean read and kept me going to the end. The biggest problem was the narration! I really enjoy audio books. I've been a listener for many years . That said, I know a good narration when I hear one. This was NOT one.

I loved this book... Even the second time around! I had listened to it some time back, but decided it was worth repeating. The narrator did a terrific job. My favorite character was Hope. She was spunky with a very positive outlook on life. She was a wonderful example of a proverbs 31 woman. I would recommend this book to ladies of all ages.

First let me say, the story was really sweet. However, I may have missed it because the narrator was really lacking! Tried to listen with my husband on a trip but had to turn it off because of the narrator. I later bit the bullet and listened alone. I would recommend READING the book. It is worth the read!
