Everything about Fiona is forbidden. She's a party girl with dark desires. She's beautiful, irresponsible, and irresistible. She's my patient. I'm her therapist. I'm past wanting her. Past possessing her. Past bedding her or protecting her. I'm willing to be self-destructive, negligent, brave, audacious, and stronger than I ever believed possible. She's blunt force trauma to the heart. And she calls another man Master.

I picked this audio book up when it was deeply on sale. The book itself had mixed reviews on Amazon. I mainly bought this because Sebastian York is the male narrator. He narrates about 30-35% of the book. Both are fantastic! This is not my usual genre of book so thus 4 Stars. I loved the Epilogue. Glad I took a chance and downloaded this book.

This was a great continuation of the Twist Me trilogy. Here have Lucas and Yulia's love story. I liked this trilogy better than Twist Me as Yulia is at least 22 and not a Fresh out of High School 18 y/o.

The narration was outstanding by both narrators! Loved it start to finish!

The Shape of Water is set in Cold War-era Baltimore at the Occam Aerospace Research Center, which has recently received its most sensitive asset ever: an amphibious man captured in the Amazon. What unfolds is a stirring romance between the asset and one of the janitors on staff, a mute woman who uses sign language to communicate with the creature.

OMG, I don't know where to begin! This book was Fantastic! I saw the movie the week after it won the Oscar for best picture! I LOVED the movie. I knew just by watching the movie there was so much more to the story that the movie just didn't show. I was soooo right. The book goes father into the story starting with the 17 months that Strickland spent tracking the creature. We get a deeper insight into the Strickland/General Hoyt dynamic. Strickland's wife Lainey has a much larger role on the book including a business relationship with Giles. Strickland's children have names (Timmy and Tammy).

My only issue with this audio book (and maybe it's just me) is that the narrator read the book too slow!!! This book could have been read slightly faster and had an 11 hour length instead of 13.5 hours. I played it on my IPhone at the 1.25% speed option and it sounded perfect.

I've made every one of my billions of dollars myself - I'm calculating, astute and the best at what I do. It takes drive and dedication to build what I have. And it leaves no time for love or girlfriends or relationships. But don't get me wrong, I'm not a monk. I understand the attention and focus it takes to seduce a beautiful woman. They're the same skills I use to close business deals. But one night is where it begins and ends. I'm not the guy who sends flowers. I'm not the guy who calls the next day.

I HATE leaving reviews like this. I just could not finish listening to this book. The female narrator was ok and if she had been paired with a strong male narrator this audio book might have worked! The male narrator voiced Cash as if he were a high school student but my biggest grip (and the reason I had to stop listening to this book) was the way he voiced Stefan. Every time Stefan spoke I felt like I was listening to an old Leave it to Beaver episode. He made Stefan sound like an overly enthusiastic 10 year old not a playboy in his upper 20's. Male narrator: 1, Female narrator: 3. I got about 20% into the audio book before my nerves gave out and finished reading the kindle book. I enjoyed reading the book a lot more and give the story a solid 4.

My advice would be to read this book and skip the audio version.

This is a difficult trilogy to review. I must admit that countless times during the first book I seriously concidered stopping, cutting my losses (both time and $) and just moving on. The only thing that kept me going was the fact that a friend and I were listening to it together. At the 3/4 point of book one things started to pick up and I was glad I stuck it out!

I've never understood the idea that a kidnapper thinks his victim should not only be "OK" with her kidnapping but be thankful for it. Nora suffered from a huge bout of Stockholm syndrome (in my opinion) and just tried to make the best of a horrible situation. She is barely 18 when Julian kidnaps her shortly after her high school graduation. As the trilogy unfolds we get more insight into his past though that doesn't justify his actions.

I listened to this book in order to get the back story on Peter (and his list) as I await the third and final Tormentor Mine book. I didn't realize Peter was part of a larger story line when I started his book. Sooooo, due to the whole non con kidnapping and Julian being a jerk to Nora (and in general) for most of the trilogy I can only give this book 4 stars. The narration on the other hand is impeccable! 5+ Stars.

I F'ing Loved this 2nd installment in the series and eagerly look forward to the final chapter. Tracy Marks is superb in the narration of Sarah. My only teeny, tiny issue is the slight Russian accent Sebastian York uses. He does it well, don't get me wrong, it's just that I absolutely LOVE his regular reading voice! Since Peter is Russian he must use the Russian accent. Still, a full five star listen all the way!

Psychologist Kai Ferguson has had his eye on Kori Williamson for a long time. His assistant is everything he’s ever wanted in a partner—smart, caring, witty, and a bit of a masochist. More than a little, actually, but that’s the problem. Kori won’t admit her own desires. She’s afraid of him and what he has to offer. Luckily for her, helping patients face their fears is one of his specialties. Kori knows she wants Kai. Her boss is the most amazing man she’s ever met. She’s also smart enough to stay away from him. Having been down this road before, she knows it only leads to heartache. She’s just found a place where she can belong. Another failed relationship is the last thing she needs. It’s better to guard her heart and let Kai think she’s frightened of his dark, dominant nature. When Kai is recruited for an operation with McKay-Taggart, everything is turned upside down. Kai’s brother, international superstar Jared Johns, is in town and Kai must juggle his family issues along with a desperate hunt for a serial killer. The investigation throws Kori and Kai together, and they quickly discover the chemistry between them is undeniable. But even if their newfound love can survive his secrets and her lies, it may not be enough to save them both from a killer’s twisted obsession.

As always, Ryan West knocks it out of the park with his brilliant narration. He is one of the best male narrators on Audible. Any M&M fan needs to listen to this book. I can't wait for the next installment in this exciting series.
