Loved this third book as much as the others. It is such a great series....and this installment answered many questions from previous books - and definitely opened the door for the next in the series too. There is a 3.5 book - that is not available in audible version......not sure what to do about that :( Still the fourth book is available...so will figure that out. Again excellent narration!! Well spent credit!

It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress. Something blue. I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.” Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true. The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there.

Loved everything about this book - the story, the narration, the characters - everything was great! Elizabeth Hunter also gets an A for originality of her "beings" who were very cleverly and creatively done. I can't believe this book has been out since 2014 - and I hadn't seen it before. It is listed as a paranormal romance - which I must have missed when I purchased - not sure I would have purchased it if I had known that. I would call it otherworldly......it was excellent and one of the books I couldn't wait to get to the car to listen to!
A well spent credit and I can't wait to get to the next in the series - Highly recommend!!

This was an outstanding story - not the usual by any stretch! I purchased the prequel; the wedding from hell and then waited till Consumed was released.....and I was not disappointed....it not only lived up to what I expected from the prequel, but exceeded it! The characters were excellent and well developed and the story was great. I hope this continues as a series - an this definitely makes me want to investigate other titles by JR Ward...and there are many that look great!
Thank you and highly recommend!!

This was one of those reads that I couldn't wait to get to the car to listen to. I would find myself rewinding (more than usual) to remember where I was day to day - and so enjoying hearing the sections where I was as a preview of what was to come. I could see myself listening to this again - the backdrop of Italy was awesome. I saw other reviewers didn't love the narration and I thought it was great. It was good having different voices for all 4 characters and added to the story.

Highly, highly, highly recommend!

Meeting Beth Harrison in the first-class cabin of my flight from Chicago to London throws me for a loop, and everything I know about myself and women goes out the window. I'm usually good at reading people, situations, the markets. I know instantly if I can trust someone or if they're lying. But Beth is so contradictory and confounding, I don't know which way is up.

I nearly bailed on this book at least 3 times...and was well into it...nearly 3 hours.. before I wanted to find out where it was going. Very interesting concept...and makes you think about our present times, our society and where we as a race are headed. Parts of the story dragged on and on....especially as related to the agency that was on a search and destroy mission and sadly none of this added to the story. All is explained at the end...but nothing earth shattering (no pun intended)....opening for a future story maybe...and if it gets published....would not be moved to purchase.....
