too many times the Mc let the situation go on for too long or let something stupid happen he could have avoided. that and something took too long to correct to move the plot further to the point I thought of ending the reading of the book. I got thru it but barely. I'm up in the air about a next book.

It turns out, the "Demon Weed" actually is a gateway drug! Who knew? Tom Perkinje certainly didn't. He had never smoked anything in his life, but as the new kid in town trying to make friends, he foolishly let his new buddy Reggie talk him into trying a joint that he'd picked up from a new dealer. Before he knew it, Tom was having a seriously bad trip; a total out-of-body experience where the world had dissolved around him.

Would you try another book from Andrew Rowe and/or Nick Podehl?

Yes.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Really... That's who _ was? So sad I seen it a mile away.

What about Nick Podehl’s performance did you like?

Everything. One of my 3 holy trinity when it comes to narration. Nick Podehl, Jeff Hays, Jeff Kaefer. Anything they touch is Platinum!

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

NO! I would be too annoyed by the MC and walk out. He is the most useless sack of _ throughout the book! They set him up like he's some genius in the beginning and he quickly transforms into the worlds biggest moron for the remaining 99% of the book!

Any additional comments?

Made it seem like there was a romance about to happen with certain girl, then crushed our ship dreams with a BL date acceptance?! WTF?! You want him to be gay? That's fine. Just dont set up our hopes and dreams of a certain ship starting up and crush them so completely! It wasn't even logical how it happened! The MC was a train wreck in a bad way. So stupid I was getting annoyed at continuing and hearing all the lame reasons of why he was acting stupid. I loved the world and all the characters in it minus the MC... He mostly ruined the book for me.

Virginia St. George - of the dragon-slaying St. George dynasty - has the brains and bloodline that define her family's legacy, but she's never been good at following in their footsteps. She doesn't have the powerful magic every St. George is born with or the sword-wielding skills of the paladins - like her sister, Celeste - who bravely combat their fire-breathing foes. Even worse, a past tragedy has left Virginia with a crippling fear of dragons...and facing arranged marriage to an aging nobleman eager for heirs.

If you could sum up Dragonbound in three words, what would they be?

A perfect balance

Who was your favorite character and why?

The MC. She's a hot mess! She grows into a great strong character, even if a bit flawed. It makes her even more entertaining!

Have you listened to any of Fiona Hardingham’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

no I havent. She was wonderful though! I would listen to anything else she does!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I kissed a dragon and I like it?/ So my potential boyfriend's a dragon.../ Dragon down the family tree.../ His body is so warm... I want to touch his scales! What?!/

Would you try another book from Craig A. Falconer and/or James Patrick Cronin?

not sure

What was most disappointing about Craig A. Falconer’s story?

There was so much build up over the files being real or not and the back and forth between the MC and the "bad guy" that it was great... then it turned too political and seemed to loose it's way. Its like they forgot someone stole the files and had more than he did. It took to long to get to the point and I felt it should have got to the reveal sooner and contact. It became a struggle to stay interested in the book as it droned on. Some of the appearances the MC made were fun, but....Yeah it went from entertaining to droning. I felt there should have been more editing in several spots that felt like padding.

What does James Patrick Cronin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I would have dropped the book quicker. His reading was the better part of this book's experience.

Do you think Not Alone needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

no.
