Just finished this book and quickly downloaded the second one. I never liked cliff hangers and this one is a big one. I am glad I am late to the party so to speak so that I do not have to wait for the next book. This is a story of a normal guy doing normal guy stuff. Working for a company with the sickness hits. He and his co-workers do everything they can to figure out what has happened when the dead start walking. It would be my luck to be stuck in a high rise when or if that happens. The banter between the main character, Dan and one of his co-workers, Bryan is awesome. They work together and find a way out of the building to be brought into the police station being questioned. The next thing you know Dan and Bryan have been included in a SWAT team moving out of the city. There is loss, gain, and action. Looking forward to the next book.

Hell Diver III Deliverance

I just finished the third installment of Hell Driver. What a ride! Personal agendas, deceit, falseness, murder, sadness all describe Capt. Jordan. In the darkness, a light shine through, with the Hell Divers stranded on the surface. The discover of a new air ship brings Capt. Jordan to a crescendo of all that he is. On the surface the survivors fight ever moment to just stay alive. With the creatures, flying, walking and growing out of deserted and contaminated structures, these divers learn rather quickly how to survive. But there is a new enemy that X has learned to stay away from, the floaters. There are losses and victories. More divers add their name to the fallen. One of the many things that made me laugh was how people pronounce things hundreds of years later, like Miami and pizza it was funny.
This story was well written and I look forward to the next chapter. Already pre-ordered Book IV. If you have not started this series, you should. The story takes you on a journey right along with the divers.
