I really wanted to like this book. I loved the description and it seemed like it was going to be really good. I gave up 2 hours in. While the narrator was great, the story was just really slow and pretty confusing. I finally just gave in and turned it off. I don't know how this got good reviews, I'm returning it.

Loved the story, didn’t like the narrator. I’ve listened to her read other books and didn’t realize she was the reader on this one until after I bought it. She isn’t terrible but just always sounds like she has a cold. Way too nasally. Makes it hard to listen for me. Otherwise, great book! Was in suspense until the end.

Life was great. I loved my bachelor life and working my dream job with the Colorado Springs SWAT team. That all changed the day I stepped into her bakery. Her smile swept me off my feet, and her panna cotta was heaven. Cue my very traditional Greek family. Then all hell broke loose.

I loved the family in this book which brought a lot of humor to the story. But parts of the book just sounded so juvenile. I don’t know if it was the writing or the narrating or maybe a combination of both that made it feel that way. Was a cute story but would not listen again.

Really love this series but the narrators for this book are absolutely horrible. Wish they had the same ones all the way through from the first book. The male narrator has a very weird voice that just hurts my ears and the female rushes her reading and talks louder at certain points like she is reading for a suspense/horror novel. It’s awful.

Despite the terrible narration of this book, I still recommend this whole series. I love the Bennett family!

The only reason why I listened to the whole book was to see how Aubrey’s story with her parents and dancing turned out. And they really didn’t tie up the storyline with the parents. Andrew was a total A-hole! Very brash and treated women like objects. So glad I have the romance package and didn’t have to pay for this or I would have asked for a refund.

I do not recommend this book unless you like a-hole men.
