A rip-roaringly good tale that captures your attention from the get go. If you've never heard about Horatio Hornblower or any other characters from his world, you'll enjoy this tale a lot. And it even comes with sound effects and other little goodies. You'll definitely enjoy the guy telling the story. Another intriguing and likeable 1940 adventure for Ms. Pearlie. You like the characters and the narrator was quite believable in telling the story and you kind of wanted a little bit more when they were done. Interesting characters and setting and if they had managed to drop into our time, they’d probably fit right in. And they’d cope quite nicely too. If you get a chance to listen to the audio version or if you read the book, you’ll enjoy it. so, pick up a copy and you just might have discovered a new favorite author (or narrator for that matter).

It was an interesting listen and very helpful with phrases and stories that will have you master Italian like a native. The voice-over performer was quite fluent and very good and patient when he was going back and forth with the easy translations and what they mean. So when you get a chance pick up a copy and enjoy.
