Each story and lesson in the book guides listeners to release the blocks to what they most long for: happiness, security, and clear direction. I absolutely loved her book, however, I only gave the performance four stars because I had to keep stopping/rewinding to hear important parts and/or prayers that I wanted to retain. I listen to books while driving my 90 minute commute and it gets frustrating to have to keep rewinding. Perhaps the paperback is the best choice and I will most likely purchase it because I really like the content of the book. If the author could slow the narration down just a bit and slowly repeat certain prayers and important points, like Wayne Dyer did with his books and speeches, it would give the listener time to either write notes or let the information absorb in before moving on too quickly.

The material of the book is good, however, the narrator comes across as annoying, condescending and patronizing, especially when reading dialogue from a woman. He was so annoying I deleted he book after only three chapters! The only reason I gave it any stars is because the content seemed adequate, yet promising.

This book is packed full of useful information! The author has a pleasant voice and does not waste the listeners' time repeating himself or with fluff (i.e.; when an author spends the first six chapters of a book telling you what to expect to learn, then repeating themselves as a way of filling up space). The book is refreshing, does not insult your intelligence and keeps the listener engaged. I found his Bible references insightful, however someone who is not a Christian may not. Also, I like how he backs up his talking points with real life examples.

Your Soul's Plan (which was originally published under the title Courageous Souls: Do We Plan Our Life Challenges Before Birth?) explores the premise that we are all eternal souls who plan our lives, including our greatest challenges, before we are born for the purpose of spiritual growth. Through compelling profiles of people who knowingly planned the experiences mentioned above, Your Soul's Plan shows that suffering is not purposeless, but rather imbued with deep meaning.

It had such a profound effect on me and stood as a reminder that all of the day to day stress is so irrelevant unless it causes me to dig deeper and figure out what the lesson is. I listen to it over and over again because I catch something new each time.

For many years, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s fans have wondered when he would write a memoir. Well, Wayne has finally done just that! However, he has written it in a way that only he can - with a remarkable take-home message for his longtime followers and new readers alike - and the result is an exciting new twist on the old format. Rather than a plain old memoir, Wayne has gathered together quantum-moment recollections.

This is a comprehensive overview of his life in 20/20 because they say hindsight is 20/20, right? Wayne's wisdom is so valuable and I think this is my favorite of all his books. This would be a great book for anyone, regardless of whether they are just being introduced to Wayne or for someone who has read most of his books. His beautiful soul shines through and his voice is so calming, reassuring and INSPIRING, you never want the book to end! I will miss him and will always turn to his audiobooks when I need a lift. RIP Wayne Dyer and congrats on your new adventure....maybe Esther Hicks can channel you!

The book is inspiring, but the first 8-9 chapters seem to be repeating the same info as to who is pulling your strings and which personality types are vulnerable. For people who are already aware of who is pulling their strings and when they feel vulnerable to it, the first 8-9 chapters can be boring, so skip and go straight to the last chapters. I feel disappointed the book didn't begin there.
