Knight Sebring knows who he is, what he wants, and what he likes. And he gets it. But he never expected something as sweet as Anya Gage to wander into his bedroom during a party he did not expect to be having to borrow his phone. Knight tries to leave Anya to the life she deserves, with white picket fences and a man who watches football on Sundays - good, normal, and clean.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I love Kristen Ashley as a writer. But I have to say this was one of my least favorite of her books. I could not get into how the main characters were calling each other daddy and baby. It just didn't feel right for the relationship. And there're so many oh my god's that I got annoyed. Unfortunately, the narrator was overemphasizing them, making them so much worse. I'm also used to more action from Kristen Ashley, but overall the story was pretty tame, considering she basically was with a crime boss. Even though some of the characters were unnecessarily obnoxious, the story and the romance were just ok.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

predictable and boring

Was Knight worth the listening time?

No, i would recommend reading it maybe.

I really liked the idea of this book, but after listening to it for almost 2 hours I had to stop. The romance never really picked up for me, though the premise of the story was interesting enough that I might have kept listening. Unfortunately the chosen narrator had a voice that I could not handle. She has a slight lisp that really ruins the characters for me. And her voice seems much too old for the characters described. I cringed at the thought of listening to a romantic scene with her grandmotherly voice. I might pick up the book on Kindle, but I'll have to wait a long time for her voice impersonation of the characters to leave my mind. I have no idea why they picked her since the character does not have a list in the story as far as I can tell, but what an unfortunate choice.

When Lily Jacobs was born, she inherited Fazire - a genie. Her family had three wishes and they'd only ever used one so Fazire was stuck in the human world. This worked since he'd become a member of the family anyway. Even with a genie, Lily's young life wasn't perfect. To escape the kids making her miserable at school, Lily buried herself in romance novels. One day, when the teasing was just too much, she used one of her wishes.

I am definitely a Kristin Ashley fan. Ever since I read her fairytale ones I've been following her work closely. The story was a great start to a new series I hope. The characters definitely had to go through trials and tribulations to find their happily ever after. Only reason I gave it four stars was because I thought the trials were a little too much. It made the story spread a little exhausting, without giving too much away. Though Ashley pulls it off beautifully.

Being dragged through a mirror, naked and screaming, onto an extraterrestrial ship was bad. Finding out I had been sold to a huge alien male who looks like the devil was worse. But learning he wanted to trade me to an intergalactic petting zoo was the worst of all! Now I'm whizzing through the galaxy with a robot butler, a trio of nib-nibs (they're like tiny green monkeys), and one huge, muscular, and very grumpy alien.

Hey guys,
When I picked up this book I thought the main character sound like she was a brave confident women and the book was going to be funny. But u fortunately this was. Not the case. She was so painfully self deprecating and had no confidence at all. She was also weirdly stubborn which seemed to go against her character and made lots of obnoxiously stupid decisions for a para legal. All in all, her character ruined what could have been a very good book sci fi romance.

Can I just say I almost called my new boyfriend Alex several times during lovemaking because of this book! The characters are awesome, the men super intense and sexy, and the voices with the Russian accents, I didn't even know I thought they were sexy till I went on this steamy wild ride! Def pick this one up!
